The days are noticeable getting shorter again. Where I made quite some evening walks a couple of weeks ago, now in October it's really getting dark earlier. And it's much rainier as well.

But fall also has it's nice aspects. The colours of the trees for instance. A lot of trees are turning yellow, orange and red. Sometimes they have really bright colours.

Here near a pond in the the park one tree was turning yellow. The water itself is covered with green waterweed. That has really expanded over the entire pond to the warm and sunny summer.

Other things that fall brings are fungi. They seem to popup everywhere now. This one was quite big and looked very nice. I'm no expert, so I cannot tell which species it is.
And I never pick them for consumption either (everyone seems to be asking that when I post a photo of a fungi).

Here is another one that fell over. That way you can see the spores that are underneath the cap.

I really had to move on since darkness was setting in.
It did gave me the opportunity to make the following shot.

When I was almost home I was presented this beautiful red/pink coloured clouds.
