A walk in the park

It is Wednesday, so time for @tattoodjay's #wedneydaywalk

It has been raining a lot tonight after a long dry period and also today there were a couple of rain showers. Luckily it was dry by noon, so I could go for a walk (without getting wet that is).

On my way to a nearby park there were some geese crossing the road. The funny thing is that they were all Domestic geest except one; an Egyptian geese.

The bushes and trees look all freshened up because of the rain. All nice and green.

In the middle of the park there is a pond with a fountain. You can walk all around the pond.

On the water side there was a single swan surrounded by ducks. Swans can be quite aggressive, but this one was nice and calm and let me photograph him (or her) from a pretty close range.

The rain really brough out fresh rich greens
I love the faoutain, a pond in the city I used to live in added a fountain for two reasons it slooks beautiful but also to help aerate the water and keep it fresh,

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)

The goose is not and Egyptian goose but a Canada goose. The white smile under the eye is a giveaway.Nice photos btw. Also love your name.
