A sunny and cold Wednesdaywalk

It have been quite strange days in the past week. We had snow, hail, rain and sun. The temperatures have dropped and are now just above freezing point.

But today it was nice and sunny, so I grabbed my jacket and went for a walk during my break today.

When walking through a park I noticed a nice reflection of a willow in the pond.

The winter has officially started a few days ago, but some trees still have some leaves.

Because of the sun it didn't feel that cold. And besides that the sun also creates some nice long shadows.

I also spotted some very large funghi under a tree.

Always when I walk in the park I see this large bird house. I think it is ment for owls or other birds of prey, but I never have seen a bird in it. Maybe they only come out at night. Or maybe it hasn't any residents at all.

I also like the castle in the park. This also has a nice reflection.

You certainly had a lovely walk. I love all the photos. The castle and trees reflecting in the water are quite lovely. The weather is strange but luckily there are those surprising moments when the sun comes out.

You have captured really nice reflections. The castle in the park is looking classical and in my lense it's giving me gothic vibes. By the way, temperature also dropped here and it's chilling over here.

It sounds like we are pretty much getting the same kind of weather. Despite the cold temps, when the sun is out it makes a world of difference. You captured some splendid shadows and reflections on your walk.
