Happy new week to all the ladies in this community. This shall be a blessed week for us all🙏 and thanks to @kerrislravenhill for a topic like this🤗🤗

Do you have a garden? Or wish you had one? What would you like to grow in your little paradise?

While growing up, I saw that anything my mom planted germinates so fine, that people in our neighborhood usually come pick them for example, pumpkin leaves, bitter leaves, saint leaves, plantains, Mango, and other things. I used to wonder how she had magic hands that grew things so well as that👌in our compound, she had that little farm where she grew fruits and vegetables.

One thing I thought about the idea of having a small was that everywhere would be messy but the way she came about the demarcation makes it so sweet to behold. She put a plank around it to make it neat and presentable. Then, I wrote down the ideas of making mine like that when I felt the needful.

So, as someone who loves to eat plantains 👌I knew I was gonna have a space for plantains even though, I do not like farming but fortunately, when I got married, I began to think like the mother of many nations. Among other things, I created a small space for the things I like. I cannot go forth to look for beneficial leaves that are important to have as a mother.

What would I like to grow in my
       gardens

Then, I decided to act like my mother, if my mom could do it and it worked then I could do it as well. I started with pouring the seed of pepper in my small space and all of a sudden, it was growing very well. I added pumpkin seeds, bitter leaves, miracle wonder leaves, and curry leaves among many other things. This idea was not just for my consumption alone but for people around me. At least, it will save the cost and the stress of going to the market for little things like this. In this, my small gardens lie different leaves👇👇👇👇

Scent leaves, bitter leaves, and others>>>>>>

Also, as a lover of plantain, my farming is not complete if I don't have a segment for plantation. Right from a young age, I knew I would like to have a plantation in my house because it is one of my favorite meals.

My small plantation segment

I bought the sucker and created a segment for it. The zeal behind all these is the good land I have around me, without manure, things keep germinating.

Draw leaves called Crain Crain (Ewedu), as a Yoruba girl with a love of yam flour

I may not save much out of my food expenses, but this is more for personal satisfaction.

Now, that to eat is somehow too expensive, my little farm cannot do but help me in terms of cooking Vegetables and eating plantains. Instead of looking for what to cook like soup, I have it in abundance. We are in the rainy season now and this is helping, everything is sprouting out so beautifully. The land is green😂

I never believed I could achieve a lot like this but I tried to make it happen with the effort of my husband

All images are mine taken directly from my little farm arena.

Thanks for reading my blog today, do come around next time, and have a beautiful week ahead.

Yours in 💕💕

Your crops are doing really well.
😂😂😂Your post made me laugh "think like mother of many nations" I think it's when one marries you get to understand what our mothers are going through.

Our choices of favorite plants for our gardens reflect our personality and taste just as your mother had her own favorites. I vaguely remember my Mother used to prefer red roses, peas and water cress because that was her ideal garden at the time until she got full time work then left it to me.
Thanks @flourishandflora
