I learning another way of planting of through one of my student. He was given a project from school to plant yam . Though it’s quite some time that he has planted the yam . I was surprised to see that the yam was planted inside the sack. Also he make use of small pole to hold the leave because if the leave touches the ground it could cause the leave to rot.

This method will be good for someone who doesn’t have much space to plant on . And the yam the boy planted was doing great inside the sack.
I will try to carry out the experiment on my farm on next planting season.
I will try to see if the yam will do very well and see also how and maybe the sack will be able to hold the yam when it becomes big .
