WHY PEOPLE UNDERESTIMATE HAZARD // CLEANING ACTIVITY FOR 27-3-2024

*I realised that many people and even some organisations underestimate hazards which is bad. In one of my previous post, I clearly stated what hazard means and I shared lots of things on how hazard can be managed.

Human errors could cause lots of hazard such as slips, lapses of attention, misperceptions, willfulness, violation, inadequate information etc. Sometimes people fail to comply with safety rules procedures because of there's no job security or peer group pressure.

Why do people underestimate hazards?

*When there is over familiarity and complacency. Lack of experience too also makes people and organisations look down on hazards.

*Another reason could be due to lack of information, instructions and training. Another challenge is involvement in routine, repetitive tasks can lead to lack of attention.

*Another reason why many underestimate hazards is simply because of the risk that's the likelihood that harm will occur and the severity of the harm.

Today being Wednesday, 27-3-2024, I have been able to do my cleanplanet activity. I picked some garbages around the surrounding and disposed them properly.
It was a bit stuffy today but God's grace was sufficient for me.
