This prompt brings to mind a book I read a long time ago, it is quite common too; Animal Farm. Where the characters were portrayed in the form of animals instead of humans. Quite cool too. I think in such a story, this mice prosecution can be possible because they would have all the players present and the resources to make for a court room of his peers.
