The Plot
Tori a social media influencer and a jewelry seller, Jonathan is a cab driver and a fashion designer in search of accommodation after being evicted by his landlord and suffering from her aunt fart.

All the houses she visited were either two expensive above their budget or needed just couples.

They both decided to manage the last house they saw as they could not want again for the agent to look for another house as getting a house was quite hard to come by in the estate.

Two roommates act like lovely couples in front of their landlords but actually enemies inside the house just to sustain their accommodation. Everything was shared in the house using a blind toss including the kitchen and the utensils in it.

However, what they did not know was that they were gonna become real-life couples after their constant strife and always act the other did not exist.

Oge's developing love for Jonathan and Jonathan not reciprocating the love because of his hidden love for Tori puts their charade in jeopardy as Oge decided to leak their secrets to their landlord who came knocking on their door and asking for the truth.

What Jonathan did not know was that his one night sex with Tori resulted in pregnancy and Tori's decision to leave the apartment was due to the pregnancy since Jonathan denied having feelings for her and since he felt Tori wasn't good enough for him and was too loose.

My Thought

The actors delivered their roles wonderfully and the movie was a bit funny watching the two have banter every single day and seconds but suddenly act all lovey-dovey when their landlord or his wife came around.

Although the movie is funny and can actually put someone in a lively mood, I think what they lacked was suspense. For someone like me, I could detect the end of the movie from the movie and be sure that both of them were going to fall in love at the end.

Even though they tried to put other scenes to divert our minds like the sudden closeness between Oge, Tori's friend, and Jonathan, and the rest of the scene Oge acted all lovey to Jonathan, the movie still ended as I predicted. I mean, it was obvious from the start what the end was going to look like, although the movie was good but would have been better if there was another better end or if the end wasn't that obvious.

The movie portrayed fate bringing two people who were meant to be together, come across each other anyhow and anywhere more like God doing things his way when He wants people to be together.

The movie also portrayed to me that love can meet us anywhere and anytime and could make us change for the better. From the beginning, Jonathan was not Tori's class, she dates the rich kinda guys with cars and the rest so they could help her keep up her lifestyle and dates more than one but once Jonathan arrived, she saw the need to adjust her lifestyle most especially with Jonathan always bringing down the roof when he catches her trying to show off a fake life on social media.

The movie is interesting but Nollywood has got to learn to put suspense in a movie because that's what makes the movie fun to watch till the end in a quest to know what finally happened.
