Resort to Love is a 2021 American romantic comedy film written by Tabi McCartney and Dana Schmalenberg, directed by Steven Tsuchida, and released on the 29th of July.

The Plot

Erica ends up as an entertainer at a gig in a luxurious island resort named Me de Saphir with the help of her friend Amber who could not watch her die silently after a broken heart and career meltdown after her fiance left her a few weeks to their wedding and her producer refused to launch her song that would have taken her dream and career to the peak.

Upon realizing she wasn't just going to be an entertainer in a gig but as well as in a wedding, she started having cold feet because of her past trauma but was able to overcome it with the help of her friend Amber and her newfound friend Barrington who happens to be in her team too.

Was saved by Caleb from drowning while trying to help a man who she assumes was drowning on the beach, Caleb happens to be her ex-fiance's elder brother who happens to be in the military. She has always heard about him but never seen him.

While things were going just fine with her and she was beginning to be happy and enjoy and love her career, she bumps into her ex-fiance Jasonat the resort who happens to be getting married to his fiance Beverly in that luxurious island resort too.

She soon realizes her feelings for him were always there even when she was enjoying her career more and both try to keep their past relationship a secret from his bride-to-be but could not as Jason's mother who happened to know about Erica spilled it a few hours to their wedding day.

Beverly was shocked and decided to call off the wedding but Erica stopped her as she tells her their secrets and urges her to go back as Jason loves her.

The movie is an interesting one, their settings and characters are great. At the starting of the movie, I actually thought the crazy one would be Amber, Erica's friend but then, I realized the crazy one was Janelle, Beverly's younger sister. She acted her role perfectly well and Mrs. King, Jason's mother is also a crazy actor.

The movie is surely an incredible one and it is a must-watch for all. It has got a lot of fun and suspense in it.
