A PRANKSTER BECAME A PRISONER
Anytime I hear the word April Fool or any prank I flee, it is something I do not wish to remember, this day was a day I regretted coming to this life, April Fool's Day can never be a joke to me anymore.
It happened In the year 2010 when we moved from our rented house to our own house, and we were so happy, it was around February when we moved in and we celebrated our mother's birthday in the house.
My father hosts his family members every year, it falls around April because he loves to celebrate the Easter festival together with them, it is always like a get-together because it is always fun to have them around, so since we just moved to our new house and the main building will not be enough to accommodate them, so he decided to finish up the boy's quarter so they will have enough room to sleep instead of lodging in an hotel.
Work was going on in the boys' quarter and it was coming to the end of March, it was on the 27th of March, My father went to work and told us not to leave the compound, after he left I went out for sightseeing maybe I can easily make friends since it was a new area when I left not up to ten minutes when my father came back he forgot one important documents and he came back for it, he asked of me and I was nowhere to be found, my sister told him that I stepped out immediately he left, I was giving part one beating that day.
Well, I am never quick to forgive, Trust me I must revenge, I had my sister in mind for not covering up for me, I wanted to punish her and scare the living life out of her since I knew Fool's Day was near.
It was on the 1st of April, I lured my sister out of the room and told her that Mum asked us to go and pick the surroundings, I took her to the boy's quarter and immediately I shouted Snake! Snake!! Snake!!! I know she had a phobia of snakes, as she was about to run out of the uncompleted building she just stepped on a long sharp nail that penetrated from her slippers and pierced her leg, believe me, I didn't plan for this.
Before I finished saying April fool I saw blood gushing out of the leg, The prank gone wrong, I was in a state of confusion because my mother did not ask us to pick, I just wanted to punish her for what she did to me, "How will I explain this to my parents" That was the thought running through in my head.
Can sorry mend her leg, hmmmm, see me and confusion was 5 and 6 that day, she was screaming at the same time crying, I felt her pain because it was not a small nail, it was so deep that it pushed the outer flesh up and we can feel the nail mere touching the dorsal surface of the palm. I know you can guess what happened to me, I still have some marks of beating for that.
My mother heard her voice and rushed out to find out what happened, she saw my sister standstill and was crying, I was begging her not to tell my parents what happened but believed me, if I was in her shoes I wouldn't have hidden such too, to cut the long story short she was rushed to the hospital and I was giving home arrest for weeks without leaving my room, no watching of television, no playing, no talking to anyone in the house, everything I want is in the room including food and water to drink, my room has toilet and bathroom inside so I do not have any reason to stepped out of the room, he locked the door from outside and dropped the key on the dinning table Incase they wants to give me food, this punishment lasted for two weeks, even when my father relatives came for the meeting I was still in prison, I called it prison because it feels like a prison. I never prayed for this punishment because beating is much more better than this home arrest, my father behaves like a military man.
This is my experience when it comes to pranks, I never tried such again in my life and I do not like someone to prank me as well, Pranks can be very dangerous because you never know the condition of the person you are pranking, you can never see me pranking anyone again in my life.

Sometimes this pranks goes wrong. Glad it didn't get worse than it was, the nail was pulled out and she became fine. I have heard of people who lost their lives as a result of this prank. I believe that's the reason people don't take it serious to prank people again

Hahahaha. I wonder the thoughts running in your mind when you saw her bleed. The house arrest was a way to grind you, And it sure worked 😂

Some pranks never turned out well. So sorry about your sister's accident, and your pain as well. But the prison tho🤣, hell no! 12 strokes of the cane on your buttocks is better:)

A sharp nail! I could feel her pains, pranks are fun but at the same time, they are not funny when gone wrong.
Your prank was not that bad but what happened to your sister was. It was an accident which was unforeseen, not intended and out of your control. You must have felt terrible thereafter about your sister's situation and your punishment too. Not wanting to partake in pranks is understandable due to this sad situation.

Snake? I would lose my fluffing mind!😂. Sadly, your well crafted out prank didn't go as planned. However, it's a good thing your sister was rushed to the hospital. I hope she didn't suffer too much?

You couldn't have known something like that would happen so I wouldn't blame you too much. The punishment was a bit harsh though. As much as I love staying indoors, I also love to know that I could go out and come in at anytime. You tried o staying "locked up" for two weeks.
