The moment I got aware of this challenge, I was a little wary and concerned about which hand gesture or sign to make use of at first I thought to myself, Maybe this is not my type of thing why not let it go. But then suddenly I felt the need to push my limit as a person, though I had no idea of symbol in mind.

I just kept an open mind yesterday, whatever pops up in my mind over the night I will stick to it, well I didn't get that lucky, I woke up with my mind still blank, I felt a little disappointed 😅 because i really wanted to do something for the challenge and for my team in general.

After a few hours, I kept deliberating but nothing came up, so I sat down on a flat surface in front my house but suddenly a thought jog my mind and I couldn't shake it off because I realised while sitting, my hands where in a particular a position which I didn't pay attention to.

I asked my younger brother to take a picture of me, sitting in that particular position but after taking the picture I wasn't satisfied with how it looks. I wanted something more pleasing and attractive. so I decided to play with the picture a little, as an individual I'm blessed with a lot of photo editor on my phone, I mostly use them to design different artistic work on my post.

Firstly, I need to shape out the hand it self, so that the focus will be just on the hand. I chose an app called Background changer an app I downloaded from playstore, after I changed the background, well it was starting to look presentable but the funny aspect was at that moment I had no intention of publishing it, maybe I just wanted to show my team members in order to encourage them.

I have always preferred animated or cartoon pictures, you should see me in real life, I nearly look like one😂😂. so I chose an app called photo lab it can be found on playstore. the app allows you to create a cartoon versions of your pictures.

I used the app to transform same picture but looks more like a cartoon, as soon as that happened, I started liking it a little bit because it is more like what I want.

So it was time to add a caption to it, I headed to Canva, add some little touch to the background, I didn't want it to look too ordinary or have a white background like everyone else and also I want it to share some similarities with the team banner.

Here comes the tricky part, I started wondering what caption will I add to this hand gesture, what name is most preferably for it, then it struck me like a thunderbolt. There is hope

Judging by my attitude towards creating the hand gesture I wouldn't have done it but in the process of creating I had more hope that I could get it done, after all the work is done, so I thought "may be my sense of creativity isn't that bad"😅 there is hope for me afterall

In relation to my team, we have different individuals with their own unique attitude, we are all putting all our effort together in order to achieve our primary objective. it might be a Little challenge knowing we have to make some sacrifices along the line to help the team in general but despite the huddles and difficulties we might face we strive to overcome it no matter what it is because we believe that at the end of the rocky road there is hope for us all.

The image above is the team symbol, designed by one of my creative team members @jazclassic. in her own words, which means courageous, determination, togetherness, protectiveness and risk takers. which simply explains everything the team stands for and looking forward to achieve. I believe this will be my first submission in regard to the newbie marathon challenge, which has forced me to do what I consider to be impossible, well it is starting to feel like a real marathon race indeed.

I appreciate @dreemsteem for creating such an amazing challenge and #dreemport in general for the newbie marathon initiative.
