When the sun sets the sky ablaze Color/B&W

Hi everyone,

A few days ago, we went to the beach to chill and enjoy the beautiful weather. We did not intend to stay there for too long, but time runs so damn fast when you are enjoying the moment!

Step after step, word after word, laughter after laughter, we ended up at the end of the pier with no more stone for us to walk on. So we looked at each other and sat down without a word. The fresh air, the ocean, and the light made our heads dizzy.

We sat down on the warm rock of the pier while the wind was rising and started to blow at increasing strength. The evening was approaching, and the wind, messenger of the sky, was howling at the clouds, gathering them like a shepherd gathering his sheep.

The waves wanted to join the party as well, answering the call of the wind and came crashing down on the pier. Everything was so silent a moment earlier and now so lively!

And then the sky set on fire. Our guest, the king of the ceremony has finally arrived.
Everything and everyone was there, at its intended place for the ceremony. Then, pleased by this welcome, the sun obliged and set the sky ablaze.

Quelques jours auparavant, nous sommes allés à la plage pour nous détendre et profiter du beau temps. Ce n'était pas dans nos plans d'y rester des heures entières, mais le temps passe tellement vite lorsque l'on profite du moment présent !

Pas après pas, parole après parole, éclat de rire après éclat rire, nous avons fini par arriver au bout de la jetée, sans plus aucune pierre sur laquelle marcher. Alors nous nous somme regardés, puis assis sans un mot. L'air frais, l'océan et la lumière rasante nous avait donné le tournis.

Nous nous sommes assis sur les pierres chaudes de la jetée tandis que le vent se levait et commençait à souffler de plus en plus fort. Le soir approchait, et le vent, messager céleste, hurlait sur les nuages pour les rassembler comme un berger rassemble ses moutons.

Les vagues se sont jointes à la fête elles aussi, répondant à l'appel du vent et venant se fracasser sur la jetée. Tout était si silencieux un instant auparavant et maintenant si vivant !

Et puis le ciel s'est embrasé. Notre invité de marque, le roi de la cérémonie est enfin arrivé.
Tout et tous étaient là, à l'endroit prévu pour la cérémonie. Alors, satisfait de l'accueil qui lui a été réservé, le soleil s'exécuta et embrasa le ciel.

I really enjoyed taking these photos, the atmosphere was incredible! I tried black and white for once, and I think the clouds made all the difference by adding a nice relief to the picture!
