The Final Resting Place (Cemetery) - LMAC Round # 130

Life is finite and death is inevitable, one day every being has to leave this transient world. We humans make so many plans and wishes, but in the end whatever we own does not go with us in the afterlife.

When someone leaves this world forever, it turns into a rotting corpse, the relatives make arrangement to dispose off the decomposing bodies according to their faith, some dump the corpse into a 6-feet deep grave, some cremate the dead body, and some feed the cadaver to birds by placing it on the altar or hills.

What remains behind is person's deeds, either good or bad, this is how a dead person is remembered. But, after some time, memories vanish and relatives start to forget, things become normal again until another tragedy hits.

This is the cycle of life, born, grow, raise, and die.

Well friends, today my LMAC collage is about the cemetery, the final resting place. It is a bit dark in the view, and gives us a heartbreaking feelings when we think about the death and afterlife.

Nothing is permanent in this world, so enjoy your moments to the fullest and build some strong memories, leave something beneficial behind, so that there may remain no regret. Thanks

Hello @emaxisonline I love cemeteries. Their beauty holding the bodies of our ancestors. They have a story to tell if you'd just take time to listen. Thanks so much for including one of my fractals in your theme. I appreciate it.

Take care.

You are right about the cemeteries, our family often visits the ancestral cemetery ,where our grandparents and other relatives are resting in peace, to pay tribute and pray for their afterlife.

I am so happy that your fractal helped my collage in giving a nice effect. Wish you lovely week ahead.

We humans make so many plans and wishes, but in the end whatever we own does not go with us in the afterlife.

Probably only the love we feel will go with us.

Did you ever read the essay, The Tragic Sense of Life (El sentimiento tragico de la vida), by Miguel de Unamuno? This is it. We live with an awareness of mortality and that awareness colors everything, every day.

The text is affecting and the collage works. It's actually great (made me think of Unamuno!). My (only) grandchild is graduating from high school this Sunday. Talk about time passing...

I appreciate that you use my image.

Regards...
