One of the reasons why we leave our dog outside is because of those ticks on dog...We wash the dog regulary but it doesn't stop coming back.
I'd get tick or flea treatment for the dog. Our dogs are part of the family. I couldn't chain a dog up all day. Sorry but it's cruel in my eyes.
