Well.......I have had pet mice and pet rats, so I would probably raise them and take care of them. You just need to separate the boys from the girls after they get a little age on them.
Pet rats are awesome! Mice are fun to watch their antics especially if they have a wheel in their cage to run.
I have a soft spot for creatures and have been known to disregard my own safety to save one of them from certain death.
That is what I would do, my friend!
