As a Bavarian, I'm actually more used to pale beer. When I was in Belgium, I stuck to the Belgian beers and in this case I chose a Floreffe Double with 6.3 % vol.Als Bayer bin ich ja eigentlich eher das Helle Bier gewohnt. Als ich jetzt in Belgien war, habe ich mich an die belgischen Biere gehalten und in diesem Fall traff die Wahl auf ein Floreffe Double mit 6,3 % vol.
When you look at the list of ingredients, however, Bavarians are actually horrified. Glucose dextrose, liquorice extract and star anise are not exactly the things that belong in a beer brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law.Wenn man sich die Zutatenliste ansieht, kommt einem Bayern aber eigentlich das grausen. Glikose Dextrose, Süßholzauszug und Sternanis sind nicht gerade die Dinge, die in ein Bier das nach bayerischem Reinheitsgebot gebraut ist, reingehören.

The beach meant that I could drink it well. Otherwise, I dare not rate this beer. It is simply not my taste.Der Strand hat bewirkt, dass ich es gut trinken konnte. Ansonsten wage ich es nicht, dieses Bier zu bewerten. Es ist einfach nicht mein Geschmack.

Even though I bravely fought my way through this berry for a fortnight, I didn't really warm up to it. But now I understand why there are almost no 0.5 litre beers. You can't drink more than 0.3 litres of it. At least that's my Bavarian opinion now.Auch wenn ich mich tapfer zwei Wochen lang durch diese beere durchgekämpft habe, bin ich nicht wirklich warm damit geworden. Ich verstehe aber jetzt, warum des dort fast keine 0,5 Liter Biere gibt. Man kann nicht mehr als 0,3 Liter davon trinken. Zumindest ist das jetzt meine bajuwarische Meinung.
But I think if you drink enough of it, you can certainly see some seals in the dunes there on the beach.Ich glaube aber, wenn man genug davon trinkt, kann man in den Dünen dort am Strand sicher ein paar Seehunde sehen.

Meiner Meinung nach darfst du ein Dubbel, ein Tripel oder ein Quadruppel niemals aus der Flasche trinken.

Für einen Bayern ist dieses natürlich ein ziemlicher Schock. Aber es gibt auch sehr leckeres belgisches !BEER. Ich hätte da mit einem "Blonde" mit ca. 6,5% angefangen, zum Beispiel ein Grimbergen, ein Leffe oder das La Chouffe.
