Its going down.... meet me Alex Trapp

I have been as productive as I can possibly be, hopefully putting some things in place to lighten my load, and training a few new people.

I wonder if this is a bad habit that I have, to have too much going on, but... I'm working on it.

The local tourism council is starting to try to do some work, there are a number of festivals coming up and the real goal is that people from the community involved in tourism and cultural expression can get involved in the best way possible. So far, meetings are our best plan, let's see what comes of it.

Its also time to update the non-profit status of our local NGO, very possibly we will get one or two very cool projects approved this year, @ecoinstante has been working quite hard on that but my job is to make sure the paperwork is on point, here I am in the Chamber of Commerce working to make that happen.

I have been extremely happy with the results of working with this new guy on our contours, he is not traditionally a farm worker but was able to pick up what I was laying down very quickly. Because of his diligent work this week, we will be able to produce a few new videos next week about our unique cultivation system, which is coming along quite nicely.

We also have another new worker/neighbor, now living on the upper part of the farm - there have been some challenges but also much progress and positive developments since he has moved in. Above you can see him planting some mantioc/cassava/yuca plants within our scrub restoration plan.

Yesterday I drove down to Padilla with Jose to chop some bamboo, its was hard work - I cut down 10 and Jose cut down 40, we'll return another day to cut them to length and haul them out.

Can you see him in there? These bamboos are construction material for our tree nursury focused on forrage for cows.

You may remember that I bought a cheap house to fix up, well now we have our first renter...

I was happy to help him move with the Nissan on Sunday, and he seems pretty happy too.

Speaking of Sunday...the line at the gas station was ridiculous!

I really only waited 20 minutes, apparently Libano's second gas station is under construction. By the way, we still have attendants that pump the gas for us, what a nice touch :)

I hope that through this photo uodate you can get a glimose into how hard we have been working, lots of good stuff is happening and it is directly proportional to the ACTION we take and the ATTENTION we put into it.

Freedom and Friendship

'm so glad to hear that you're keeping busy and making progress on all of your projects. It sounds like you're really passionate about your work, and it's inspiring to see how much you're getting done.

I know you mentioned that you're worried about having too much on your plate. I think it's great that you're aware of this, and it sounds like you're taking steps to lighten your load by training new people and delegating tasks. That's a good start!
