Since I briefly mentioned the Indian industry and the auto industry, why not illustrate my words with photographs straight from the guesthouse? A wide variety of people gather at the guesthouse; Indians come in cars and scooters on weekends. Some people even own apartments here. First I will show Indian cars, and then motorcycles and scooters. In a country with a population of 1.4 billion people you cannot live without your own automobile industry! And I’ll start with “Tata”. Tata Motors, India's largest automobile company (headquartered in Mumbai), was established in 1945 and initially dealt with locomotives, but then in 1954, Tata Motors, in collaboration with Daimler-Benz, created its first commercial vehicle and the process of creating cars was launched. Until 1998, Tata was primarily involved in commercial vehicles, but then switched to the passenger car market with the release of its Tata Indica car. Then the Daewoo company was purchased, and a year later the Tata Ace mini-truck was created, which exploded the Indian cargo transportation market. In essence, a new segment of small commercial vehicles has emerged. In 2008, Tata Motors bought Jaguar and Land Rover. The company grew rapidly and actively developed. And our most famous model, “Tata Nano” with a 0.6 liter engine and a maximum speed of 105 km/h, was released in 2008. It was a real sensation! The cheapest car in the world!
The cheapest supermini passenger car in the world for $2,500. Almost a scooter with a cabin, but on 4 wheels. A good option for those who have already outgrown a scooter, but have not yet grown up to a regular car. Of course, that's how much it cost in India.
If you sell such a car in Europe, observing European requirements, then the car will already cost 5,000 euros and more. Modifications taking into account climate and safety issues.
This is the basic version, inside the Tata Nano is just a stool with a steering wheel and a 4-speed gearbox, a car without any amenities. And they still criticize “Matiz” here! Yes, the Matiz is a cool luxury car compared to the Nana. This is clearly visible in the photo, the car has no outside mirrors (!!), no air conditioning, no central locking, no power steering (well, what is there to power up on R12 wheels?), no heater (why is that needed in India?) , no ventilation, no seat belts, there is only one “windshield wiper”! Well, and as an indicator of the class of the car, there are 3-bolt wheels, funny R12 wheels. The engine is located at the rear.

Zuerst werde ich indische Autos zeigen, dann Motorräder und Motorroller. In einem Land mit einer Bevölkerung von 1,4 Milliarden Menschen kann man ohne eine eigene Automobilindustrie nicht leben! Und ich fange mit „Tata“ an. Der günstigste Supermini-Pkw der Welt für 2.500 US-Dollar. Fast ein Roller mit Kabine, aber auf 4 Rädern. Eine gute Option für diejenigen, die dem Roller bereits entwachsen sind, aber noch nicht zu einem normalen Auto herangewachsen sind. So viel kostet es natürlich in Indien.
Wenn Sie ein solches Auto in Europa verkaufen und dabei die europäischen Anforderungen beachten, kostet das Auto bereits 5.000 Euro und mehr. Modifikationen unter Berücksichtigung von Klima- und Sicherheitsaspekten.
Dies ist die Basisversion, im Tata Nano steckt nur ein Hocker mit Lenkrad und 4-Gang-Getriebe, ein Auto ohne jegliche Annehmlichkeiten. Und sie kritisieren hier immer noch „Matiz“! Ja, der Matiz ist im Vergleich zum Nana ein cooles Luxusauto. Dies ist auf dem Foto deutlich zu erkennen, das Auto hat keine Außenspiegel (!!), keine Klimaanlage, keine Zentralverriegelung, keine Servolenkung (na ja, was gibt es da zum Einschalten auf R12-Rädern?), keine Heizung (warum?). das braucht man in Indien?), keine Belüftung, keine Sicherheitsgurte, es gibt nur einen „Scheibenwischer“! Nun, und als Indikator für die Klasse des Autos gibt es 3-Loch-Räder, lustige R12-Räder. Der Motor befindet sich hinten.
