Hello Rising Star Gamers

Welcome back again to my Starbits Every Night, a routine post I make on a night time when I play Rising Star Game. Last week we have Bring Me To Horizon, and today is the new day to pick new artists.

Recently I am very active in Leo Thread and I love to share some silly ravers youtube shorts. So I think maybe the new theme should be an upbeat dance pop one, so I have decided to pick old school AQUA. Lets lift up this week mood!!!

THE FRIVOLOUS

Aqua was an early 2000 dance pop group that came with some very ground breaking singles such as Dr Jones, Barbie Girls, and My Oh My. Their songs mostly were happy upbeat ones, with some silly funny lyrics.

However due to their great success on the debuts, there were some heavy pressures on their next singles, as if people wanted them to have better songs. Unfortunately they did not make it, their next works were not as successful as those three upbeat songs and people labeled those song as frivolous and failures.

Cartoon Heroes was one of their work that managed to hit the top chart in some of Europe countries including their home country. Despite of that, people still put this song as a failure too because it could not compete with the success "Barbie Girl" single had got.

IS THIS A CHILDREN SONG?

There was time I really liked to sing this song, even I had some singing buddies for singing this song together... especially when we felt life was so hard and we could not get money or time to go to karaoke together.

We loved singing this song because we felt like singing some happy little kids song. The song was so simple and frivolous, the topic was silly too about Cartoon Heroes. However sometime we believed this should be a children song because although most of the lyrics were funny, some lines were actually good and educative.

Ok the first day should be a easy one. Where did Aqua come from? please do not answer planet earth. I mean what country or what region.
