For the love of #HPUD

Hello Hivians, it’s the first of the month again as our monthly ritual, it’s to sacrifice some Hive into Hive Power.

After haven been drawn back by my inability to stay consistent on my HP growth in the 4th quarter of the year, it feels amazing to once again be back on track, writing and building. I started the year off by powering up some good amount of Hive to round my HP up to a nice 3k HP, and it feels good seeing that I’ve gained over a 100HP in Hive Power in the past 30 days. This is obviously not outstanding growth, but compared to the dormancy my account saw in the last quarter of 2023, this is much much better.

Truth be told, this year my account probably will not see as much growth in HP as it did in the last because of a lot of factors. First, my posting and engagement frequency/pattern has changed significantly, hence my earnings. This is mostly because of the new job I have now being more demanding than the previous, and just other things that have changed in my life in real life.

There’s also the fact that this year, because of my lack of time, I’m most likely going to be focused on gaming more, especially with Splinterlands. My content as you may have noticed recently is already seeing a shift gradually towards gaming. Because of my new found interest in gaming, I’m going to be focusing some of my earnings on building my Splinterlands deck to improve my winning rate and earnings, and my general gaming experience.

This year, I’m also looking at diversifying a lot. I’ve started looking into some projects I think will do well this coming bull, and I’ll most likely be buying into some of them. Some of them are Hive projects, others, projects of other blockchains. Maybe I’m already even late to the game, but I believe the corrections we’re seeing in the market now (and others to come) will give me a window to enter the market when I’m ready.

Lastly, I need to save some money for something I plan to do. Talk about being vague. Lol

With everything being said, I still have very good plans and goals regarding my Hive Power. I want to accumulate at least 200 Hive in Hive Power every month. This might not be very achievable considering statistics from my postings and earnings, but that’s the plan. The long-term end of year goal is to be sitting somewhere above 5k HP.

As for today, I’m powering up 17 Hive, to make my total HP gained for the month 150HP, taking my HP from 3133 to 3150HP.
