For Whom to Write Content?

What subject to write about? This is the question probably many would be thinking about here on Hive because people come here to try to share their content in the hope to earn some good upvotes.

Now, the point is, should you be writing to earn upvotes from specific whales as to what sort of content they would like to upvote?

This is why I wanted to share my thoughts on the matter.

The question is, what to write about?

Some writers share content about their hobbies or what they like to do and share it with the audience. Now, that could not get much attention if the audience may not be interested in the topic.

But at the same time, if you are niche-focused keep writing about it, you might get a handful of experience in it, practicing it which could get some traction from the audience.

Figure out what you love. If you love what you write about, you're much more likely to be successful. Identify your strength and practice.

But on the other hand, you could also get some good traction by writing for the audience. That being said, you have to have the skills of how to grab the attention of the audience by building an argument or organizing information to help a specific group of audience.

You being a writer when knowing who your audience is, you might be in a better position what they would like to consume, what information to include, and what type of supporting details you would like to include in your content.

A writer may provide more information for readers who are not much knowledgeable. But being a writer if you think the readers are knowledgeable and experts in the field, then they would not waste time describing the key terminology.
