Newbies Task 6: Hive Effective Tools.

It's another week for Newbies Initiative task. It has been a nice journey so far. I've learned a lot from this initiative.

This week's tutorial was anchored by @olujay, and I also checked through the material provided to make up for the ones I didn't really understand during the tutorials.

Getting a partner this week wasn't easy but thank God I finally got one @ahmedhayat

We had a little discussion about the task, and he told me if I needed more help I should let him know. That’s so cool of him. 😊

Question 1: Explain why it is important for you to track and monitor your progress on Hive.

It is essential to monitor my progress on Hive because it enables me to know whether I am being really progressing or not. It will help to know the areas I need to work on and areas to improve performance.

Question 2: Find your accounts on HIVE BUZZ, and then show a screenshot of your profile. Hence, explain what your marine character means and what the six numbers about you mean.

It is a tool that notifies you about your progress on Hive, I love this tool more than other tools because even if i don't receive any comments on my post it will always comfort me.

By telling me that I still exist on the chain, if others didn't see my posts it sees it and notify me that I am making progress. 😁
Also, i majorly don’t need to search for my progress, it notifies me by its self.

To find my account I login to https://hivebuzz.me/ using Keychain browser,

Enter my username, and it displays my activities immediately, for example number of posts comments and so on.

Marine characters: We have different marine characters. They are meant to show our growth on Hive. We have the Red Fish, which is the smallest, followed by Minnow followed by Dolphin followed by Orca and then the greatest of them all Whale. Looking forward to the day I will become a Whale.

There is a saying that “the young shall grow”.

My marine character is a Red fish, which is the first marine character, it proves that I'm still a baby on the blockchain.

The six numbers also mean I'm still young on the blockchain, my number is even lower than some of my colleagues have seen with red fish, which means I still have a long way to go.

Question 3: Find your profile on HIVE STATS and then provide details on your Effective HP, Author and Curations reward in the last seven days. Then explain what they each mean and tell you about your account.

This is also a tool to monitor my progress on Hive.

Using keychain, I login to https://hivestats.io/
Enter my username and my details were displayed.

For the last seven days, my effective HP is 68.32HP. Author reward is 6.86HP,2.48HBD and Curation reward is 0.03

Author reward: They are the reward gained from publishing posts.

Curation reward: They are the reward gained from upvoting other people's posts.

Effective HP is my total Hive power.

Question 4:Find the lazy panda creation trail and follow it. Customize the trail according to weight, method and wait time as desired. Then enable the trial if you want to be part of it. Show screenshots.

I entered Hive.vote on my Keychain
log in through Hive signer, though I had a little problem with creating an account on Hive signer, but thanks to @vickoly for helping me out.
