About dCity

dCity is a mathematical and trading game based on non-fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build their own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in the form of HIVE (based on ranking) and SIM token (based on city income). There are also cards that players can get only from playing the game like technologies, backgrounds and prevention cards.

Student packs

We are introducing Student packs for purchase. One pack will cost 25 HIVE and will contain 50 Student (debt) cards which can be rolled to other Citizens. Student packs are a ready-made solution for both new and experienced players. With the pack player receives 50 Tax Refund and Population so that the new city even in a high tax rate will earn SIM tokens. The HIVE obtained with the packs will serve as a refill for the dCity Economy.

The packs will be available for one week only. We see this solution as a pilot for future changes and if the packs prove successful and users want to buy it is possible that we will bring back Student packs at some time.

The ENTRY Shop

The ENTRY Shop announced in the last post is added to the game. Here players using ENTRY tokens can buy items and NFTs from other projects such as Splinterlands cards and packs, Hive Punks or NFTs from Ethereum projects. There will be 5 items available in the shop, to purchase an item you must have a Hacker card. The shop can be rerolled, the cost of this is 2000 SIM and the price of items that have not been bought drop by 1%.

Further development

On the dCity Discord, together with the community and members of The SIMillionaire Club, we are discussing further updates that will soon be introduced to the game, such as Bag of SIM, new buildings, religions or datacenters.

In terms of development we especially look for opinions and suggestions from The SIMillionaires on the state of the game. At the same time the Club is not only a place where members can express their opinion on the future of dCity but also where they can win many prizes. We have already given away over $1500 in Splinterlands cards & packs to Club members. To join The Club you need to have at least 1 million SIM Power.

i just play dcity and i found it very interesting and challenging . I wish to learn more so i can become of the high ranker . Current tax is so high which is 100% make things challenging for new player like me , but i hope i ll manage to increase my income from the game from the tax deduction. Cheers . !PIZZA

The Tax Refund will disappear as soon as I pay the debt to get citizens right? So It's like a buy and #hodl for Tax Refund and t also applies once (max50 and does, not stackable)?

hahaha yeah... dept is good vs taxes in most western tax systems, but that should mean, you as a city manager will get fewer taxes if your citizens have dept. To assume the other way around is kind of a mental stretch.
