Share your Battle: Legionnaire Alvar Edition [EN - ESP]
Welcome back to the Share your Battle challenge. This week the @splinterlands team proposes a battle with an interesting legendary card. Don't panic, if you don't have Legionnaire Alvar in your roster you can rest assured, it's the legendary card with the lowest rental cost of all cards of this rarity, much more affordable than some epic cards so you won't have to go out of your way to get a copy of this card to test and analyse in this week's challenge. Without further ado, we begin our analysis of Legionnaire Alvar.

No te asustes, si no tienes en tu roster a Legionnaire Alvar puedes estar tranquilo, es la carta legendaria con el coste de alquiler más bajo de entre todas las cartas de esta rareza. Mucho más asequible que algunas cartas épicas así que no te supondrá un esfuerzo elevado conseguir una copia de esta carta para probarla y analizar en el reto de esta semana. Sin más rodeos, comenzamos el análisis de Legionnaire Alvar.
LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR
THE CARD
I don't remember a weekly challenge where we are offered a legendary card. It's almost always common and rare cards, so every once in a while it's nice to be challenged with a card of this type. Legionnaire Alvar belongs to the neutral deck, which gives him extra playability He has melee attack, two points, and a summoning cost of nine points. Two points of speed, eight points of shield and a meagre six points of vitality, although the ability he starts with, Void Armor, means that vitality can be more than enough to be a powerful tank in our line-ups.
No recuerdo un reto semanal en el que nos propongan una carta legendaria. Casi siempre suelen ser cartas comunes y raras por lo que de vez en cuando se agradece que el reto sea con una carta de este tipo. Legionnaire Alvar pertenece al mazo neutral lo que le da un extra de jugabilidad. Posee ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, dos puntos, y un coste de invocación de nueve puntos. Dos puntos de velocidad, ocho de escudo y unos algo escasos seis de vitalidad aunque la habilidad con la que parte de inicio, Void Armor, hace que esa vitalidad pueda ser más que suficiente para ejercer de poderoso tanque en nuestras alineaciones.
As a legendary card, it evolves from level 1 to 4. It will cost 11 copies of Legionnaire Alvar to max out. His upgrade will gain an additional point of attack, shield and vitality while keeping his speed at the initial two points. As for special abilities, he will progressively gain Giant Killer, Demoralize and Deathblow in addition to the aforementioned Void Armor that he has at his initial level.
Como carta legendaria que es, su evolución va del nivel 1 al 4. Llevar al máximo a Legionnaire Alvar nos costará 11 copias de la misma. Su mejora obtendrá un punto adicional de ataque, escudo y vitalidad manteniendo su velocidad en los dos puntos iniciales. En cuanto a las habilidades especiales irá ganando, de forma progresiva, Giant Killer, Demoralize y Deathblow además de la ya mencionada Void Armor que tiene en su nivel inicial.
LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR'S STATS
Legionnaire Alvar's basic and special abilities make him a very interesting tank. He has no second line attack abilities so in most situations he will be our first card in our lineups. The presence of Void Armor makes him an all-round tank that won't be affected by a magic-dominant opponent as this magic will have to remove his shield first in order to damage our tank. He is one of the most versatile tanks in the game, which is helped by the fact that he belongs to the neutral deck and can be used in every deck in the game.
Las habilidades, tanto básicas como especiales, de Legionnaire Alvar lo hacen ser un más que interesante tanque. No tiene habilidades de ataque desde segunda línea por lo que en la mayoría de las situaciones va a ser nuestra primera carta en nuestras alineaciones. La presencia de Void Armor lo convierten en un tanque todo terreno al que no afectará un rival con predominio de magia ya que esta magia tendrá que eliminar primero su escudo para dañar a nuestro tanque. THE BATTLE
Tough battle against @asguj19615609 who is going to form with Mylor Crawling as a summoner. For my part, in addition to placing Legionnaire Alvar as a tank, a green deck with Obsidian and predominantly magic attack that will minimize the effect of Mylor Crawling's thorns. The five cards with Magic Attack behind Legionnaire Alvar will be decisive and will make perfect use of the protection and time that this week's card gives them. Good job Legionnaire in this tricky battle.
Difícil batalla contra @asguj19615609 que va a formar con Mylor Crawling como invocador. Por mi parte, además de colocar a Legionnaire Alvar como tanque, un mazo verde con Obsidian y predominio de ataque mágico que minimizará el efecto de las espinas de Mylor Crawling. Las cinco cartas con ataque mágico que van detrás de Legionnaire Alvar serán determinantes y aprovecharán a la perfección la protección y el tiempo que les da la carta de esta semana. Buen trabajo de Legionnaire en esta complicada batalla.

My magic attack strategy proved to be decisive in the face of Mylor Crawling's presence in the opposing line-up. Ideal strategy for my opponent's line-up. In short, a battle in which Legionnaire Alvar's resistance was decisive to allow my second line to fulfil its role and turn the battle in my favour. Battle corresponding to the Silver I league.
Mi estrategia de ataque mágico resultó ser determinante ante la presencia de Mylor Crawling en la alineación rival. Estrategia ideal para la alineación que puso en liza mi rival. CONCLUSIONS
Legionnaire Alvar, because of his abilities and price, is a card that we should seriously consider including in our roster. Lots of shielding, unaffected by magic and a neutral deck is more than interesting. The weak point is its high summoning cost which makes it inefficient in low mana battles and leaves us with some doubts in those with a mana limit of less than 25 points. On the other hand, in high mana battles it is clearly one of the best tanks we can include with the versatility of belonging to the neutral deck. For all these reasons, Legionnaire Alvar gets a score of 7 out of 10 in this week's review.
Legionnaire Alvar, por habilidades y precio, es una carta que debemos valorar muy seriamente el incluir en nuestro roster. Mucho escudo, no le afecta la magia y mazo neutral es algo más que interesante. El punto débil es su elevado coste de invocación que lo hacen ineficiente en batallas de bajo mana y nos deja ciertas dudas en aquellas que tienen un maná límite de menos de 25 puntos. Por contra, en batallas con maná elevado es claramente uno de los mejores tanques que podemos incluir con la versatilidad que le aporta pertenecer al mazo neutral. Por todo ello, Legionnaire Alvar obtiene una nota de 7 sobre 10 en el análisis de esta semana.
