The new Rebellion Collection

The pre-sale of the most ambitious collection of #splinterlands cards has finally been launched! Called Rebellion, it is the fifth card collection consisting of 96 new cards that should also introduce new abilities!

Another thing that caught my attention are the changes in the layout of the cards. I noted the main change with the displacement of the card's splinter information from the center to the top right corner (arrow 1).

Also the card evolution indicator bar (arrow 2) graphically showing the level of the card in use.

New game mechanics

Some images and information about the new cards have been published and we already know that there will be a new game dynamic with the introduction of the mechanic of choosing the ability granted by the summoner after viewing the opposing team!

Analyzing the image provided by the developers in the last Town Hall, we can see how the determination of the ability that the summoner will grant to his team will take place in practice.

We can see the opposing team, as well as the levels of the cards used, and then choose whether to apply +2 ranged damage or blas! This is a milestone in the game's history!

Gameplay twist

The set of cards available in Modern mode will be modified for the first time since its implementation. The new Rebellion collection should replace the old Untamed collection, becoming available together with the Chaos Legion collection.

New cards and new abilities will determine new game mechanics that should be studied very well as I intend to play in Modern Mode again, since I bought some Rebellion packs.

My Rebellion Packs

According to the official announcement, to buy 1 REBELLION pack, you need 4,000 Credits or 4,000 DEC, and also 5 Vouchers. The price to buy 4,000 DEC and 5 Vouchers when the new official announcement was released was just over US$3 when I checked.

VOUCHER is a type of token that you can receive simply by keeping your SPS in stake, that is, while you keep your main tokens saved and frozen, you receive this secondary token , proportional to the size of your stake.

The VOUCHER token can be used as a type of discount coupon! Even though I have 31 VOUCHER I would only use 20 VOUCHER, thus receiving the maximum discount.

Now it was possible to complete the transaction successfully and I received official notification that the packs were guaranteed.

There were only 4 packs and they should guarantee me 20 Rebellion cards, which should be enough to start gameplay testing.

Expectation from bots

The Brazilian community wonders how the bots will adapt to the new game mode. Many questions are in the air:

• Whether bot developers will be able to quickly adapt to new game programming, allowing their use from launch;
• If the bots will receive cards from their sponsors, that is, if humans bought packs with the intention of allocating new cards to the bots.
• How long will it take to create a database that allows the bot to choose the best compositions, obtaining higher winrate.

All of this is speculative and we can't help but notice that everyone is eager to try the new things that are approaching.

The pack opening date is scheduled for December!

A nova Coleção Rebellion

Finalmente foi lançada a pré-venda da coleção mais ambiciosa de cards #splinterlands! Chamada de Rebellion, é a quinta coleção de cards sendo composta por 96 novos cards que também devem introduzir novas habilidades!

Outra coisa que me chamou a atenção são as mudanças no layout dos cards. Anotei a principal mudança com o deslocamento da informação do splinter do card do centro para o canto superior direito (seta 1).

Também a barra indicadora da evolução do card (seta 2) mostrando graficamente qual o level do card em uso.

Nova mecânica de jogo

Algumas imagens e informações dos novos cards foram publicados e já sabemos que haverá uma nova dinâmica de jogo com a introdução da mecânica de escolha da habilidade concedida pelo invocador após visualização da equipe adversária!

Analisando a imagem cedida pelos desenvolvedores no último Town Hall, podemos perceber como se dará na prática a determinação da habilidade que o invocador irá conceder para sua equipe.

Podemos ver a equipe adversária, bem como os níveis dos cards utilizados, e então escolhemos se vamos aplicar +2 dano ranged ou blas! Isso é um marco na história do jogo!

Reviravolta na jogabilidade

O conjunto de cards disponível no modo Moderno será modificado pela primeira vez desde sua implantação. A nova coleção Rebellion deve substituir a antiga coleção Untamed, ficando disponível junto com a coleção Chaos Legion.

Novos cards e novas habilidade irão determinar novas mecânicas de jogo que deverão ser muito bem estudadas pois pretendo voltar a jogar no Modern Mode, uma vez que comprei alguns packs Rebellion.

Meus Packs Rebellion

De acordo com o anúncio oficial, para comprar 1 pack REBELLION, você precisa de 4.000 Créditos ou 4.000 DEC, e ainda 5 Vouchers. O preço para comprar 4.000 DEC e 5 Vouchers quando o novo anúncio oficial foi lançado estava em pouco mais de US$ 3 quando fiz a consulta.

VOUCHER é um tipo de token que você pode receber simplesmente por manter seus SPS em stake, ou seja, enquanto você mantém seus tokens principais guardados e congelados, você recebe esse token secundário, proporcionalmente ao tamanho do seu stake.

O token VOUCHER podem ser usados como um tipo de cupom de desconto! Apesar de eu ter 31 VOUCHER eu iria utilizar apenas 20 VOUCHER, recebendo assim o desconto máximo.

Agora sim foi possível concluir a transação com sucesso e recebi a notificação oficial que os packs estavam garantidos.

Foram apenas 4 packs e devem me garantir 20 cards Rebellion, o que deve ser suficiente para iniciar os testes de jogabilidade.

Expectativa dos bots

A comunidade brasileira se pergunta como os bots se adaptarão ao novo modo de jogo. Muitas perguntas estão no ar:

• Se os desenvolvedores dos bots conseguirão rapidamente adaptar para novas programações do jogo, permitindo seu uso desde o lançamento;
• Se os bots receberão cards dos seus patrocinadores, ou seja, se os humanos compraram packs com a intenção de alocar cards novos para os bots.
• Quanto tempo será necessário para se criar uma base de dados que permita ao bot escolher as melhores composições, obtendo maiores winrate.

Tudo isso é especulativo e não podemos deixar de notar que todos estão ansiosos para experimentar as novidades que estão se aproximando.

A data de abertura dos packs está prevista para dezembro!
