Sketches of The Main Cast of Family: the Unbreakable Bond & A Nice Surprise From Child Actress, Shin Su-A

AI-generated art is in the rage these days. I understand the concerns that many people have voiced, especially in the creative industry. Will AI take over the jobs of those working in the digital field? I honestly don't have the answer to that. My daughter insisted on pursuing a career in the digital field someday but I warned her the future may look very different 10 years from now. The job market might be saturated with many people like her who couldn't find jobs because many things have been outsourced to more cost-effective AI services. I don't know. That is just my opinion.

As for me? Well, as a traditional artist, I don't think AI will be able to replicate the personal style of traditional art. And how does AI convey emotions through organic strokes on canvas or paper? But what do I know? AI technology is still in its infancy and it will evolve to a greater height in the future. The possibilities are endless.

So what does AI talk has to do with what I am posting today? Well, nothing, I just wanted to put my thoughts about AI here 😁. And of course, I also want to show you my hand-drawn sketches that I did today. I am quite proud of myself for sketching 3 drawings in one sitting today. It's hard for me to achieve that mostly due to my busy daily schedule.

❤️ The Main Cast of K-Drama, Family: The Unbreakable Bond ❤️

Jang Hyuk has a new TV series on TVN and as a big fan of his, I am very excited about it. The drama's title is Family: The Unbreakable Bond.

The series tells the story of Kwon Do-hoon (Jang Hyuk) who is a NIS black agent husband who disguises himself as an ordinary office worker and Kang Yoo-ra (Jang Na-ra), a sweet and fierce wife who dreams of a perfect family. ~ wikipedia

If you are wondering why do I love Jang Hyuk so much? My main reason is his professionalism and clean image. This man is highly disciplined and has a good work ethic. Do you know that he does all of his stunt scenes, without using body doubles? Yup. This man has a black belt in Jeet Kune Do, does all his martial art stunts, and choreographed the fight scenes in almost all of his shows. But the downside is, like all actors/actresses who did their own stunts, he also suffered from numerous injuries throughout the years.

And his clean image, no scandal or juicy gossip about him. He is a married man, and a dad of 3 kids (2 teenage sons, and one 8-year-old daughter). He is very respectful of his co-actresses and addressed them using "Korean honorific" instead of on a first-name basis. He never flirts and keeps everything professional between him and his co-actresses. And he had done so many love/bed scenes throughout his career. He is gorgeous and he could get into extramarital affairs with anyone he wanted but nope, this man is very loyal to his wife and loves her so much. He knows how to draw boundaries.

I could go on and on fangirling about him but my point is he is a class above the rest.

❤️ A Nice Surprise From Shin Su-A ❤️

Other than HIVE, I also shared my art on my Facebook and Instagram profiles. Today is no exception whereby I posted a reel of these portraits and tagged Jang Hyuk and the child actress, Shin Su-A. And guess what? Within minutes of posting it, I received a "like" and a comment from the child actress, Shin Su-A!! 😍...OMG...I am officially star-struck. Of course, it wasn't really her who commented but her mom who manages her Instagram account. Nevertheless, I felt touched that she took the time to like and comment on my post. She even posted my reel on her Instagram story 😇. I felt truly honored 🙇. Thank you sweetie! 😘
