For sure Diesel Pools are quite appealing and surpassing curation rewards. But they don't exclude each other rather than working together for the same goal and diversifying the ways of earning.

I am using both, Diesel Pools and curation rewards. Although most of my savings in Diesel Pools are DEC-related (swap.hive:DEC, SPS:DEC...) - and only profitable because of the SPS airdrop.

My curation rewards are not that big either, right now, since I am still a very small fish. At least some Level 2 tokens, start to bear fruit ( #spt, #oneup, #cine, #pob and #alive). But it is still a very long way to get more rewards.

I have invested in Oneup: HIVE pool which has a %137 APR. I like having exposure to game-related Hive ecosystem tokens. Oneup and Oneup-cartel are my favorites.
