dCity Update: Getting rare cards motivate to play
NFT card collectible game in which you earn by various means like staking cards, holding SIM (native token of the game), appreciation of the card's and token price etc.
In the past 2 months I have invested about 1000 Hives in the game. 1M is my SIM power and city value is about 2.4M SIM. Soon, within a couple of days, I will get SIMillionaire status. Becoming a SIMillionaire is quite exciting as it has some exclusive benefits, which will help to boost my city value. Holding SIM reward is also good enough, i.e., about 65% APR, which is far better than Hive Power. The advantage is that it is always liquid, unlike Hive Power.
My City Today
In the game, there are various interesting and exciting moments comes, but here I want to share the exciting moment of getting a rare and expensive card. There are some cards of first and second edition which are very limited and have good use cases to enhance the income but no longer minted so become expensive in the market. 3rd generation card is getting minted and there are also some cards which rarely minted and have good use cases. From the buy option, we can mint 3rd generation cards randomly for 800 SIM each. It is pure luck if anyone get such a rare card. Till now, I got 3 such cards which are minted very less and have some important use cases which makes them expensive in the market.
Warehouse
Every day I shell out some SIM to mint 3rd generation cards. Today I got a warehouse minted for me when I paid 3200 SIM for 4 cards. I was quite surprised and happy to see a warehouse card. There are only 137 warehouse cards minted till now. I just checked its price in the market and the last trading price was 100k SIM which is equivalent to about 40 Hives! In future more such cards will be minted. But some interesting use case of warehouse also coming like it will be used to construct data center of BTC, Ether and Hive, so hopefully its price will also maintain or increase over time.
Military Base
Last month, I got minted this card. Only 914 such cards is minted till now. It gives 2 ware shares, which helps to boost income in wartime. Its last trading price in the market is about 30k SIM equivalent to 12 Hives.
Hacker
It is a newly introduced citizen card and its various exciting use cases are under development. I got this card when my Student(debt) pays his/her debt and become hacker. The chance of becoming student to hacker is 0.1% only. Current market price of this card is about 40k SIM which is equivalent to 16 Hives.
Such interesting moments keep the interest alive in the game and motivate to play.
