Perspective World

IMG_5235.jpeg

We imagine a better world in our subconscious mind and yet the manifestation is so far away from it, we hope and hope and believe strongly, and still, it looks almost like revolution is far from us. Have you ever sat back and researched what needs to be done to eliminate this dormant era?

Yes! We have almost lost our democratic system of government and the rise of chaos, lawlessness, confusion, and disorder has begun. This would birth Anarchy in no bit if caution and discipline aren’t utilized. Laws are no longer carried to effect, the safety of citizens is violated and the morality of the people has been corrupted and this is where I would be elaborating more on.

In case one doesn’t fully understand the Anarchy system of Government and the Democratic system of Government, this is my one cent for better understanding. Anarchy simply means “without rulers” but in this case we have rulers but we don’t. The rules of Anarchy say “no government” and “no justice” but obviously there is government and it doesn’t look like we have a government and the same thing applies to “no justice”.

The Democratic system of Government is the previous system of ruling and governing the country of Nigeria. This system states that Democracy is for the people, by the people, of the people. This simply means that it is the power of the people in a way of governing that depends on the willpower of the general public. This system of government provides a safe environment that respects human rights and fundamental freedoms and in which the freely expressed will of people is exercised. If you have contrary opinions regarding this please share with me.

Back to the main point: the “Morality of the People”.

What do you understand by the term “Morality of the People"?

My research made me understand that “Morality refers to the set of standards that enable people to live cooperatively in groups. It's what societies determine to be “right” and “acceptable.” Sometimes, acting in a moral manner means individuals must sacrifice their short-term interests to benefit society”. Read here

Morality is the differentiation of intentions, thoughts, decisions, and actions between those that are distinguished as proper (right) and those that are improper (wrong) but today the definition of morality is twisted and manipulated. What we know as right is now known as wrong and even seen as a weird thing to do. Individuals are beginning to normalize this every day and people who do the right thing crawl into a hiding spot and people who do bad things dominate, terrorize, and bully.

This is what I meant by the morality of the people has been corrupted and influenced by negative circumstances. A perfect example is the case of Mohbad. A Nigerian Celebrity who died mysteriously, we know that the circumstances surrounding his death were weird but we aren’t driving to that point.

IMG_5236.jpeg

The point I am trying to point out is the behavior of the people, their actions, and so forth. Actions like hiding the truths, the attacks, bullying, harassment, and setups. All these were happening and no one said Jack! Only a few and their voices weren’t listened to until he died. What is the essence of showing those messages, video clips, and voice notes when he is already dead? Why not do it when he was still very much alive?

The fact is that he is dead and it would take a rare occasion for him to have risen. What surprises me is that folks use this medium to chase clout and make themselves famous in the process of seeking justice. How about hypocritical persons?

Holding up to high moral, ethical, and social standards is very difficult, because if one falls short of being the perfect example, one becomes a target and a hypocrite, albeit a well-meaning one.
_ Mark Masters et al, New Dimensions, June 1990.

Now the government has said that they aren’t affiliated with the sudden demise of that young man and they promised to put efforts into seeking justice. With every day that passes, I am gradually forgetting that promising star and the case of “justice for Mohbad” delay is making everyone lose interest in the outcome of this. Because everyone knows how all this would end up…probably no justice at the end.

...✍︎✍︎BUT THEN, WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS WE DO TO MAKE THAT WORLD POSSIBLE…✍︎✍︎

image.png

Finally, you asked!

Firstly, we need to advocate for change. I believe there is power in unity and oneness. In this time of crisis, unity, one voice, and oneness among the people have proved to be the driving force behind the resilience and ability to create a better world. This would bring about a revolution. Entertaining different voices would bring disorderliness and chaos.

Secondly, we need to sacrifice and volunteer ourselves for this cause. Give up some certain attitudes, daily activities, and self-interest and dedicate time and efforts to this change we are passionate about.

Thirdly, Diversify and Strategize. Without planning and mapping out tasks this change can’t take place. To make this happen, setting up community gatherings to discuss important matters is required. One can’t wake up one morning and comply with everyone to do this. However, if situations don’t arise, needs like this can’t be tackled.

Making the world a better place is a collective effort that involves people from different backgrounds, ethnic, and cultures who have similar interests.

Sometimes I feel the world is regressing, especially in our country. Hatred, discrimination and prejudice are now widespread using the social medias. Including fake news too.

Well, I believe is left to us as individuals to strive to see a better world and we can do that by educating those around us the necessity of doing the right things

Including fake news too.

The percentage ratio of fake news and real news is 80:20. It's no longer a new thing anymore but this effect is dealing with the minds of people. Which needs to be eradicated.

Now, everyone is rather thinking of himself and no one trying to make the world a better place for them.

You're right when you said unity
The thing with this country is that we are not united. People tend to choose ethnicity other unity.

When someone in not from their state they don't belong. If we all stand up to say one thing even the government doesn't have a choice

That's a case of tribalism! They made it believe that we aren't equals but yet we are living under the umbrella of one nation. If the case of tribalism cease, and humans work with one mind there will be revolution.

We live in a world where some people are above the law and at same time some cannot escape the law, the world we live in today is not what we dreamt of..

That's right!
Some people will good and legit connections believe so. They have the power to even carry out some certain activities with confidence and power while those oppressed by the law can't escape rather they dance the tune.

It seems like Nigeria has a lot of problems. Hopefully you guys have ways to fix the corrupt and greedy people leading the country :(. I always seem to read bad things about Nigeria and it seems like many of you would want to go to another country if you could.

You're right though about those 3 steps with change, volunteer, and strategy . I think if Nigeria does this then you guys will have a better country which will make the world better ^

FYI, not only Nigeria has problems!..

Every country has a problem including yours, every country has what the citizens are fighting for! Whats your citizens fighting for and they are praying eagerly for that change to take place??

Not everyone wants to live this place because no place is like home. Another country will not treat many right and they will be used for their gain.

Nigeria is a beautiful country, blessed with mineral resources and others but we are kicking against bad government. I believe if this method that was listed above is put into measure there will be a lot of changes.

Yes of course every country has its problems but yours seems extra bad because I see a lot of people writing about it? There are ofcourse a few that complain about their country and they aren't from Nigeria but most of what I've seen is from Nigeria.

Well my country is unfortunately a Muslim country so they aren't so open minded I think to change since it's already in law that only the prime minister can be malay + muslim something like that. Malaysia has great natural resources and everything; we could do better than singapore but nah we have people here in power that don't want to change and the 1mdb scandal which I'm not sure if you know but is quite famous probably set us back a lot.

I hope it gets better for your country and can start reading more positive news about whats happening. I also have a friend that's in my splinterlands guilds that told me how his lecturers go on strike and it messed up his studies and graduation timing. it seems really bad there from what he's told me. Anyways you have a great weekend . I hope I didn't offend you or anything!

If we all abide with the laws of the land and live in oneness, will there hassles and troubles we are facing today? No way!

This life is very simple, we are the ones making it difficult for ourselves...that's because we are humans 😢

I love thissssssss comment!

I don't think that there will be hassles and trouble, if the government set part for her citizens there will be less complaint. But obviously everyone is doing what's best for them.

You have said a lot of good points here, unity and love can make the world become a better place. If we love each other, the leaders won't treat us bad.

Nice content dear, I enjoyed reading your content.

This is true. Just like the saying urinating together makes the urine to have much bubbles We all need to come together and fight for the change that we seek.

But how possible can it be when there's no unity, tribal and ethnic wars everywhere.

Concerning the case of the young Nigerian celebrity, you're totally right. He said while he was still alive that ''if he dies Naira Marley should be held responsible'' so I wonder why wasn't anything done while he was still alive? Why's it now he's dead, the police have suddenly become active? Even the celebrities that never said anything about it now have an opportunity to talk all day long so that they get favoured in the eyes of they society. Our nation is really regressive and only God will help us.

Nigeria is tagged as a democratic country but in reality, it is far from being democratic. Democracy is said to be government for the people but here, it's obviously for the so-called leaders.
Truth be told , the changes begins with each and everyone of us. Tribalism won't solve the problems but rather, create more problems. We all need to acknowledge ourselves as one. United we stand but divided , we fall.

Ethnicity has been the order of the day in our nation. No one is ready to give freely without expecting something in return.
Unity is a old song, like gone are the days where unity is the priority for everyone.

Quite a lot to learn from this post.
You see that mohbad case it's we because I know what they will do at the end, they will push the blame to another person
