It’s amazing how quickly the weeks just fly by, it seems just like yesterday it was hot and sunny in August, now it is getting dark at 4pm freezing cold and wet. And it will be December for next weeks vlog! The year end is getting so close - although we have Christmas to survive the run up to first.
And business is really ramping up for the Christmas build up, with big bulk coffee orders coming in and keeping both roasters very busy - the 5kg has been running all day every day Monday to Friday churning out crafted Speciality coffee - having someone dedicated to keeping an eye on every roast has really paid off with as we increase the flavour profile of each coffee with careful extension of the development phase.
And the 30kg is as always essential for our commercial customers, who are ordering 30kg plus per week of their blends, plus the unexpected orders that pop in for 30kg of Colombian or Monsoon Malabar. Whatever the job, we manage as always to ship next day getting fresh roasted coffee to our customer just when they need it.
And of course with Black Friday sales are surging even more, White Rose Coffee has deals running from 25th right through to Midnight on the 28th - with a website banner discount code, e-mail subscriber discount code, a discount code just shared our on our socials and finally 18% of the first order for new subscription sign ups. The orders have been flowing in since we left on Friday and it is going to be a real challenge to ship them all on Monday.

Yep the days are flying by. Although we’ve had a few nice ones here in the 50’s. There’s been a bunch of cold ones. Glad business is booming, I’m sure you’ll get those orders out Monday.
Mostly cold and wet for us, although today it is mild and dry for a change. It is going to be a very busy monday!

It has really picked up in the past few weeks, but the Manchester Christmas Markets alone had some serious volume taking around 600kg of stock a week! Somehow I have gone from setting up a Hive Engine witness to make better use of my existing hardware to adding an extra server to my collection to run a hive engine testnet instance!
I hope the Hive stuff is fun for you. I might consider running witnesses if I had the time.
