We are two days away from Christmas, and people already traveling and planning how to make the day memorable and fun for themselves and their loved ones.
Unfortunately many people won't kill chicken this year due to the exorbitant price they are selling it except Santa visits them with a chicken and their Santa could be anyone, it could be their rich family members or any rich person feeling generous, gone are the days when we buy the same chicken for as low as 2500 naira, now, the same chicken is selling for 18,000 Naira.
This just makes it dawn on me that the economy only keeps getting worse and what should we expect in the next ten years, probably the extinction of the human world due to the hyperinflation and chaos it would later cause when the poor masses can't take the torture anymore.
This is a story for another day, do not let me kill the joy of Christmas coming with it.
When it comes to Christmas song, there is one that rings in my head on every Christmas season, the song never get old because it is the song that defines what Christmas is all about.
We get to know that Christmas is meant to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ the son of God, who saved the world by sacrificing himself, the song also talks about his mother and so many other things, and aside from the lyrics, the tune and melody of this song is pleasing to the heart.
Many can already guess the song I am referring to with the few points listed above but maybe they guessed wrong and were thinking of a different song entirely.

Whenever I listen to this song it brings out the festive spirit in me it awakens me to enjoy Christmas the best way I can.
There is another song I also love so much that I love to hear during this time, this one is titled Feliz Navidad, If you want to wish anyone a Merry Christmas, just sing this song and you are good to go, it also has a nice lyrics that brings out the ecstasy that it is Christmas day and would even make you shake your body and probably dance if you a good dancer, unlike people like burl that doesn't know how to dance but can only shake their head lol.

Oh wow, heard and listened to this song many times. there was a neighbor who had loud speakers on the veranda and puts this song playing on repeat on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
