This week's contest is about writing about some of our favorite moments on the Hive blockchain, Being a user of this blockchain for the past 6 years, I have my best and worst moments, I have my winning days so do I have bad days... I would love to share some memories that are still fresh in my memory, they happened during my early days on the hive platform.
Many people must be wondering about the essence of the reputation score, I mean the number in front of our username, aside from the fact that it shows that the user has earned a lot from the platform since it increases the more you earn on the platform.
There was a time when an airdrop was given to hive users and those with higher reputations got more, we could also invite more users to claim their byteball and we would get a portion based on their reputation so many of us newbies were going around searching for users with higher reputation to refer.
I was so happy the night that I cashed out the money, that was my first airdrop ever! The name of the airdrop was Byteball, oldies would remember.

Another unforgettable experience on Hive was a time I participated in a contest, the winner would be the person with the highest number of votes on comments, I was in many nigeria communities back then so I was entering into people's DM and many responded to my dm, I was even able to make friends through those DMS, so for people who wonders how I got to know many hiveans, it was through those contest, even though many of them have left the hive platform now but still those memories and how I used to win almost all the highest vote contest lives on in my memory.
The friends I have made on this platform and How I met some of them is part of my favorite moments, the list of unforgettable moments is endless.

Hive is really an amazing place with amazing people. Some friends we make on hive are always there to support us in any little way they can.
You deserve all the support you got because you do same for others.
yea I have met lot of beautiful people on this hive blockchain, in fact 80 percent of my friends now were made here

I remember the first time I heard of Hive, the first thing I said is that I don't have any money to register for another online work oh! My cousin laughed at me and I didn't believe all what she was telling me till I started. But now I must say Hive is indeed an interesting place to be.

Hehe. I wasn't in the hive platform when the airdrop was ongoing and so I never heard the name of it. Making friends is the most beautiful moment in my opinion. So, I can understand why you think it was one of the best hive experiences for you.
