Some ideas I think will make Hive blockchain better
The hive blockchain is one that I can never forget in my lifetime, it has been a life helper, testimony bringer, and destiny changer and I know we have others like me that owe their success to the hive blockchain.
I started my online career from Hive and it was from Hive that I met others who taught me how to diversify to other blockchain and their projects, so Hive still remains my first love and will always top the list of my favorite coin.
I would have said hive is close to perfection because there is nothing perfect in this world, it cost zero fees to transfer funds from one hive wallet to the other and less to zero fees to transact hive with other exchanges.
The open wallet is good too, everyone can see what you have in your wallet in terms of liquid hive and HBD and hive power, but the part I do not really like is that others can also see the amount you have in savings.
I do not like the idea that the HBD and hive in savings are also transparent, it is called savings for a reason, and the amount there should not be transparent to others.
It should be done in a way that only you can see the total amount that is in your savings as this why make the funds in there protected without spying eyes knowing what you have in there.
I also think this is why some people are not putting enough in their savings and would prefer a private wallet so that others won't be able to know how much they save, not everyone wants others to know how much they have in their savings.
Another thing I think the hive blockchain needs is finding a way to have HBD listed on exchanges this way we would have fewer people selling hive and this may even help boost the price of hive as many would depend on their HBD payout rather than selling hive.
It is a pain when I have to convert HBD to Hive before selling because when I see the numbers of Hive I get for the HBD, I would feel like not selling it anymore but some needs call for it.
These are the two things I think need to be sorted, which of the two do you think is more important to be solved?
I actually think getting Hbd listed should be top priority, we should also have our hive dollars on other exchange and this might even bring more people to the hive blockchain because the moment they start stacking HBD, they will be curious to explore and learn more about the wonderful blockchain that have that stable coin.

Only people from hive know about HBD.I think this is a good idea to list it on exchange. But there is a problem. HBD is hive backed dollars how it can be listed on exchange! Exchanges trade cryptos only. 😭
Uhm didn't think about that, hbd is a stable coin too even though it sometimes pump but always retain its peg price, don't really know how it is going to be if it get listed but it will be nice if it get listed as a stable coin
It would be good for more exposure. HBD and hive back one another. People in hive can trade between hive and HBD. Actually, we can say both are same. Both producing the same profit it it's holder as far as my knowledge and calculations say. You got 20% APR and in case of hive 3.5% APR & your voting power make it same return approx. So no issue with if people buy hive hive or sell it against HBD.
It's another aspect of we want HBD visible to the world also. Developers can do that if worth it.
i Hope they do it, we have cases where people mistakenly send hbd to exchanges and end up losing it because the exchange won't return it to them since it was not listed in their exchange
You've described Hive's impact on your life in a very good way. I hope it continues to have that effect for you for a long time, even exponentially. Hive is a really great platform for connecting with people, meeting new people and learning about blockchain. I would like to share a few thoughts on the topics you mentioned, these are my own interpretations and their accuracy is of course debatable; although I'm not a master of blockchain, what I do know is that it's an open ledger method. So people can see each other's account movements and how many tokens they have in their accounts, I know this is a normal situation according to blockchain technology. As an alternative idea to your point, I came up with the following as an alternative idea, maybe I can help you with your question marks on this subject. You can put your HBD that you want to invest into the "savings" by opening a different sub-account and keeping this account anonymous. I don't know if it is forbidden to do such a thing, I wanted to share with you an idea that came to my mind while reading your post, if you know whether it is forbidden or not, I would be glad if you enlighten me on this issue.🤞
It is not forbidden to do that but still it is still open and people can easily track your alt account, so they will still know it is yours, it is okay that wallet is transparent but the savings could be an exemption
But if you can keep this sub-account anonymous, can it still be known that its yours?
It would be anonymous if you dont do any transactions on it with your main account, moreover it means you also can't use the same exchange address that you use with your main, so stressful
yes you are right. If there is a spy around who really wants to follow your movements, s/he will surely find you
Having HBD not been entirely transparent defeats the reason why this place is called a Blockchain. Everything has to be tranasparent but to think about it, it would be nice having a means of keeping HBD, earning good returns and people not knowing anything about it.
I did mention that the liquid HBD can still be transparent, but the savings should be kept out of everyone's eye, for certain purposes.

Till now it's not a problem but I think it can be a problem for me if my nearby people will be able to know about it. Thank god that no nearby people are not in hive. But I think they will come someday and they will ask for money if they see the savings amount in my hive which is transparent and also want the feature to hide savings. It's necessary. Currently, it's not a problem because I am mostly focusing on HP and I have less savings.

that is another point, when you save Hbd with the purpose of earning the 20%apr and a family ask you to lend them, it will be difficult to say you do not have when it is so open to them you have it

You have made a good suggestion and the transparency on Hive definitely made everything happening in your account visible to other members. A small level of privacy with our savings wouldn't be a bad things.

These are really great suggestion. I have always suggested why we can't sell hbd directly on exchange instead of converting it to Hive again
You can sell on bittrex if you have an account there, and for listing hbd in multiple exchange i dont think they would want that to actually control the pegged nature of hbd... learning from what hsppened to SBD back in the days of steemit.
hopefully someday, they will list hbd in some exchanges
Not everyone wants people to know about their investments. I think if our earnings are kept hidden, it would be very nice.
On the part of making provision for converting HBD too, I give you an A1 there. For someone like me who is not too knowledgeable on crypto, I often sell my HBD to those who want to buy and sometimes I find it very frustrating. There were times I need to make use of money urgently but I have to wait until I get a buyer and sometimes the person might not even be available I have to patiently wait.
selling to people is not profitable, it is like giving them 10 to 20 percent of what you earned and all they need to do is just 10 clicks, it is better you learn how to sell your coins
