Shopping is fun with Good Bargain

The economy of the country is bad, things are becoming expensive and there is a change in the status of people... The comfortable ones are now poor because of the price of goods and services... Things have tripled in price and it is hard for the poor and elite to survive now.

Those who love to economize have stopped using some things because of their prices, the one that shocked me was the price of pepper now, The last pepper bought was so small that I started thinking we need to stop using pepper and focus on food that does not need much pepper... It is time to economize if you want to survive this hardship and don't want to beg for food.

The fun part for me this year is how I discovered a way to minimize my spending with wear!

There are a lot of online vendors selling different kinds of things ranging from clothes, shoes, electronics, and many other things and I used to patronize them in the past until two of the vendor I used to patronize fucked me up.

I ordered cloth for my girlfriend from the first vendor and it took weeks before she could deliver it and not just that, she delivered something else to me which price was lower than what I ordered but I did not complain and just ignored it, the other thing that made me stop patronizing her was when I asked her for the price of a shirt she posted and she said #16 000 Naira, like wtf! how can it be that expensive, I just knew she was lying and intentionally increased price for me, so I asked another vendor and that one called it 12 000 Naira, I still find it expensive though, but that was the proof needed to stop patronizing the first vendor.

The second delivered an up and down cloth package for me but only the top size me, the trouser were f9, so I just stopped buying things online, a few months ago, my babe was watching Tiktok and she saw a video of this girl that went to Yaba market to buy clothes and she explained how cheap the clothes are, Yaba market is just 200 naira transport fare from my place so we decided to check out the market and guess what?

I saw the clothes I love that the vendor called 12 000 Naira at the price of 6 000 Naira!, I also learned that those online vendors and boutique owners come to Yaba to buy the market that they sell, so let's assume that the vendor bought the cloth at 6 000 Naira, isn't 16 000 Naira a ridiculous price to sell it? I even feel 12,000 naira is too much to sell it, that is double the amount you bought it!.. If I were a vendor that sells things like this, 3,000 Naira would be enough gain.

After discovering this new gem, it has been fun for me and my babe as we always go on market days which are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We would buy a lot of clothes with 100 000 Naira whereas it was before, the 100 000 Naira would only buy 5 clothes, I bought a top 7500 Naira and two months ago, I bought the same top 13 000 Naira in a boutique lol, There was also a trouser I bought yesterday at the price of 11 000 Naira, very fine trouser and I bought a less quality one at the price of 15 000 Naira in a boutique months ago.

Shopping is fun right now and I have changed a lot of my old clothes, unlike before that huge amount won't even make any difference in your wardrobe, now my wardrobe is getting full and I need to buy more hangers to hang some clothes and I plan to visit the market once a month from now till there is no place to put the clothes again!

You're absolutely right good friend, I totally get what you mean about finding bargains. It can be a bit frustrating when online vendors overprice stuff. Yaba market sounds like a hidden gem I didn't know if till today. Gotta love scoring good deals right bro... Enjoy shopping good friend

I won’t sabotage online shopping but I don’t do and if I do, I always make sure that I have bought from the person before
Buying an expensive cloth is still good but why will they bring a counterfeit profuct?
It’s annoying

Well trust no one, it is the person I have bought from that gave me ridiculous price after like 4 times of patronage ...

Buying an expensive clothes at 3 times it worth is not good, that is greed in my own opinion

Haha this is an unexpected fun moment to read, who would have thought getting new wears at a cheaper price would bring joys to the heart haha.
I wish I could find that place with you so I can load up my wardrobe too 😁

It motivated me to buy more clothes honestly because the same amount that I use in buying 4 clothes now buy like 13 upward, just imagine .. you should have a place like that in your state too, you just need to find it 🤭

In the case of shopping, we need to know how to bargain well and it can save us a lot of money. Moreover, we can save money when we know from where we should buy our clothes.

Many time online sellers are middle man only and they just buy form local market and sell online without any value addition, only addition they do is price addition so it's good that you creak it anand find a good alternative also..

The way of shopping is also that the price must be reduced, but here in our city, the same rule is used, the price must be reduced, and those customers who are good are those who reduce the price. I buy the thing.
