Raa: My new favorite death monster

Happy weekend to everyone, i have been seeing alot of the new riftwatchers monsters in battle but i don't really see people using one that i seem so obsessed with and because of this particular card, the death splinter that i rarely use is becoming one of my most used splinter....

Recently i have been having a high win rate with the death splinter and that is all thanks to the combo of kitty summoner and death monsters, especially the lord arianthus and raa.... The kitty won't have matter but i can't risk raa missing his target due to his low speed so kitty is the best summoner since she never missed her target....Why do i love raa so much?

This monster has 5 abilities and i love every single one of them, this is the reason why i use it often whenever i use the death splinter in high mana battles..

These are the flying and double strike ability, the flying increases the chance of non flying monsters missing their attack on him during battles and the double strike seems to be one of the reason why i love to use it often, it has 4 range attack plus the double strike, means his total attacks per round cost the opponent 8 life!

This monster attack on opponent is totally unpredictable with his scattershot ability which makes it more interesting for me as it put the opponent in panic mode, the giant killer is another of its ability that helps to get rid of monsters with 10 mana or above so even in high mana rules, the opponent must be really careful with the big monsters he come up with and lastly is the rust ability, this takes away two armor from all the opponent monsters and gives way for my monsters to perform easy penetration on opponent team....

The battle above is a good example of a 99 mana rule in which i used the combo of the kitty and death monsters, i was not surprised when the opponent came with the water splinter so i was prepared for it by using dark ha'on as my last card to absorb all their magic hit and also use his magic reflect to return their attacks....

Most time that i use the death splinter, i like using the lord of darkness it is my favorite death monster but because magic monsters are his nemesis, i don't like using it in battles where i know the opponent can come with magic attacks, but with the combo of dark ha'on and the new legendary healer oshuur constantiathat also possess the resurrect ability, i have more confidence in using lord knowing it will take time for the magic monsters to get to him....

Lastly is the Raa which is fast becoming another favorite death monster of mine, it helps to remove the armor from opponent monsters and allow the lord of darkness to wreck his havoc faster plus raa double strike helps a great deal in most battles giving me more win rate in most of the time i use the death splinter in battles!

I am yet to see many users of this card, hopefully you can try my tactics and see how good it is!
