My hive goals and year 2024 Resolutions

Goals setting is an important thing that people need to learn to set, it is what motivates us to put more effort into what we desire.
It is easy to wish for something and forget about it in a few weeks or even days but setting a goal and keeping it documented somewhere you can easily access or see it is a reminder that helps, anytime we see the goals we set, it reminds us how bad we are lagging and could help get us back on the track.
I keep all my goals documented on a board in my room and I check on it daily, it can't be missed because it is right there on the wall staring at me, so there is no way I would forget about something I see daily and this is a fuel that gets me going.
I make sacrifices to achieve my goals, I cut my expenses, and I already have a plan not to buy clothes this year if it is going to affect my goals, I have once cut my feeding allowance in half just to meet my goals, there are other expenses I can cut to make more progress in my goals and I do not hesitate to do that when needed.
I believe there is a gain in every sacrifice we make to meet our goals.
My Hive New Year resolutions are:
I have been nurturing this dream since late last year, but the will to make it possible get stronger this year.
I want to be paid by hive without having to do anything, you know that kind of thing like just come around once a month, collect your salary then go play again till the end of the following month.
My get-paid-for-doing-nothing dream was birth with the juicy 20 percent HBD Apr, The plan is to have enough HBD in savings that would cover my offline bills which include feeding, rent, electricity, and any other expenses.
Being a family man, 300 dollars would fill the void but to be able to earn 300 dollars monthly salary on hive, I need to have 18,000 HBD in savings.
It is a work in progress and I am already saving all the HBD I get my hands on without any plans to withdraw them unless it is a case of emergency but I do not hope for such emergency so the savings remain intact.
The new year plan is to save 1000 HBD monthly but that could be overwhelming for me because of my second hive goal which will be explained below, the plan is to have 10,000 HBD in savings for the year 2024.
This is my second hive goal, and the plan is to double my hive power in the year 2024, This dream gets hard because of the first dream and it won't be easy to accomplish both together but I love pushing myself to the extreme when it comes to setting goals, it enables me to be able to put in all my energy so at the end even If I am unable to achieve all my goals, At least I will be very close to the target.
Having 50,000 Hive power would give a boost to my voting power, I think at 100%, 50,000 hp would give a 1-dollar upvote, this is another dream of mine wish could be attainable in the year 2024. This way I can spread my vote to more people and also earn more HP curation.
I want to increase my engagement energy, many people express their minds and creativity on their blogs, so I would love to get to know my friends and others by reading their posts and also comments to show their messages were well passed and assimilated.. I know school could be a barrier to this because when school resumes the pressure comes and due to the energy it consumes, I won't be able to do this much but I will try my best to make this happen too.
All these are my wishes, dreams, and goals for the year 2024 on Hive, but we make plans as human while God fulfills!

This is the first post I read that left me speechless, 1000 HBD monthly is huge but nothing is impossible. I believe that you have a lot in plan to make it happen and I love your determination.

20% APR is indeed huge and I also have plans to do like you but in my my case it's not so easy to make it possible. But with continuous effort and dedication it will be possible which is just a matter of time and that thing applicable for both of us.

It's a good idea to put your goals in a visible place so you don't forget them, I try to keep a separate blog about my progress as times go so I can go back and read about, its kinda double work but I dont update every day, one of my objectives is to interact a little more in hive and not let the time factor get in the way.
It is easier for you to get a board like me and track your progress, you may also keep a diary to track your progress, blogging about it could be a stress especially when trying to find those post .
WOW, These are indeed an amazing goals you have set out for the new year. Accomplishing these will go a long way in easing up so many burdens that come with finance. I do hope that there should be nothing like emergency as that can be a drawback to your target.
Yea I will pray against emergency that will require me to withdraw the money not to come my way.

Keeping your goals in written form in places where your eyes can easily sight them is one strategic way to rememeber your goals.

1000HBD in savings is really a bíg number for me but I know it would but looking suitable to you. I wish that you will become successful in your goal and you will get pay of 300HBD with saving of 18000HBD.
