WoooHooo - 200K Level 1 Tokens in the bag
Woke up to some good news
When I logged in to Hive-Engine this morning, I noticed that my LVL token balance had finally passed the 200K target.
It's taken some time... I managed to snap up my 1st 100K for about 150 HIVE a month or so ago, and then slowly but surely managed to scoop up the remaining 100K for about 3-4 times that price :-(
If I had the liquid HIVE available at the time, I would have grabbed all 200K (the price has been steadily increasing for the last month or so).
But that's not why I've been stacking up
Why HAVE I been selling other tokens for LVL if not for profit?
The potential for profit made the decision easier, sure... but I have no intention of flipping these tokens at all. The Level token (LVL on Hive-Engine) will be the in game currency for PSYBER X.

There are only 500 Million total tokens, and it will be used across many games as the Reptile Studios team continues to develop them.
"After PSYBER X we plan to create 10-15 games ranging in size to get a better feel for the P2E market."
But why 200K then?
I discovered this project a little late (and missed the opportunity for Founder Edition NFTs - https://peakd.com/hivegaming/@psyberx/nfts-for-psyber-x-tier-2-and-3-annoucement-get-ready-to-make-your-own-character) and don't want to miss out even further.
200K is just my 1st target... I'm going to continue accumulating until the game is released... but you need a minimum of 200K to reap some bonuses:
Crates (containing items/weapons that you will need in the game) will be airdropped to those that hold LVL token. For every 200,000 LVL token in your wallet over a 60 day average you will receive 1 PSYBER Crate. For example, if you have an average of 1,000,000 LVL tokens over a 60 day average you will automatically get 5 PSYBER Crates every month until the limited supply of the crates are gone.

Additional benefit of having over 200,000 LVL tokens when the marketplace launches is having a 30% discount on all Crates purchased. Purchases can be made with HBD/Hive. Currently this will make the price of each crate $14.00, instead of the full price of $20.00.

Yeah... LVL going 10x is very plausible (and I won't be sad ;-))... but my main motivation is holding 200K+ of them for the benefits being far more NB than taking the profit. I'm going to keep on scooping a few here and there when I have some liquid HIVE, and might sell some of them in a year or 3... but will HODL the original 200K "forever" :P

Thanks for sharing, this is the first time I hear about the project. I subsequently bought a few LVL, but it is still a long way for me to get to 200K. Do you know when they plan to launch the game?
I believe we're gonna have an Alpha version out within a few more weeks... but there's no confirmed date as yet... but it's gonna be "soon"... so the sooner you get those 200K LVL tokens the better ;-)
