Hive, more than a blockchain [ENG/GER]

Hive is more

Recently I saw a poll on Twitter. Unfortunately I didn't save the whole thing, but the question was "What is Hive for you? ". Answer options were the following:

1. a blockchain
2. a platform
3. an ecosystem.

You can think about what you would answer spontaneously...

Speaking of which, I'm no longer sure what I answered myself, I think the second one. But I remember very well that the question kept me busy for a long time, until today. It was only through the question that I realised how much my view of Hive has changed since onboarding a year and a half ago. At first, it was indeed a blockchain, this tech-mystical thing that many people don't understand at first. Then I quickly realised that it's like a platform for social media. There's blogging on all kinds of topics, you can give out likes/upvotes or comment on posts. That's why I came here, I wanted to exchange ideas on certain topics. And of course, get some coins for good content.
In the meantime, however, I see more and more of this unbelievably large ecosystem of Hive: There is not only finance and crypto content via LeoFinance blogs or podcasts, there is gaming (Splinterlands, DCity etc.), Move2Earn (Actifit), video streaming (3Speak), NFTs, DeFi, Hive Engine, microblogging (DBuzz), the Hive DAO, an infinite number of tokens and so many topics that are represented via all kinds of communities. Even after 1.5 years, I only know a part of everything. And that's what makes an ecosystem. It is a complex network where many individual parts interact dynamically to create a large whole. And even though I don't know every corner, it gives me great pleasure to be part of it and to contribute to it.

In this sense, let's continue to build this ecosystem together. Step by step. In my opinion, the conditions for it to continue to grow and flourish are excellent!

Hive ist mehr

Kürzlich sah ich auf Twitter eine Umfrage. Leider hab ich mir das Ganze nicht gespeichert aber es ging sinngemäß um die Frage „Was ist Hive für euch?“. Antwortmöglichkeiten waren meine ich:

1. eine Blockchain
2. eine Plattform
3. ein Ökosystem.

Ihr könnt ja mal kurz überlegen was ihr spontan antworten würdet…

Wo wir grad davon sprechen, bin gar nicht mehr sicher was ich selbst geantwortet habe, meine das Zweite. Aber ich weiß noch genau, dass mich die Frage länger beschäftigt hat, bis heute. Erst durch die Frage habe ich realisiert, wie sehr sich mein Blick auf Hive seit dem Onboarding vor anderthalb Jahren gewandelt hat. Zuerst war es tatsächlich erstmal eine Blockchain, dieses für Viele tech-mystische Ding, was man erstmal nicht versteht. Dann habe ich schnell realisiert, dass es wie eine Plattform für Social Media ist. Es gibt Blogging zu allen möglichen Themen, man kann Likes/Upvotes verteilen oder Posts kommentieren. Deshalb führte mein Weg ja hierher, ich wollte mich zu bestimmten Themen it anderen austauschen. Und klar, auch paar Coins für guten Content bekommen.
Mittlerweile sehe ich aber immer mehr dieses unglaublich große Ökosystem von Hive: Da ist nicht nur Finance und Crypto Content über LeoFinance Blogs oder Podcasts, es gibt Gaming (Splinterlands, DCity etc.), Move2Earn (Actifit), Video Streaming (3Speak), NFTs, DeFi, Hive-Engine, Microblogging (DBuzz), den Hive DAO, unendlich viele Token und so viele Themen, die über alle möglichen Communities repräsentiert werden. Selbst nach 1,5 Jahren kenne ich nur einen Teil von allem. Und das macht eben ein Ökosystem aus. Es ist ein komplexes Netzwerk, wo viele Einzelteile dynamisch zusammenwirken und so ein großes Ganzes ergeben. Und trotzdem ich nicht jede Ecke kenne, es macht mir große Freude dabei zu sein und daran mitzuwirken.

In diesem Sinne lasst uns gemeinsam weiter an diesem Ökosystem bauen. Schritt für Schritt. Die Voraussetzungen, dass es weiter wächst und gedeiht sind meiner Meinung nach hervorragend!
