I didn't end last season well but it gave me an idea

Last season turned out to be a major disappointment for me, as I finished with only 25 Gold chests. s if that isn't bad enough, I also forgot to move up to Gold level in the dying minutes of the last season, so I had to start this new season in Bronze league.

Now I don't have to explain how much the Bronze league sucks, so I'll not even get into that. All I can say for sure is that this new season hasn't been a great start either.

The good news is that I didn't spend too long in the Bronze league, as I easily brawled my way out of it. However, the unwanted end to last season is giving me ideas for the next season.

So far, I've been grinding for daily Silver chests and seasonal Gold chests that have largely been underwhelming. The rewards in the gold chests have only been marginally better than what I find in Silver chest.

The thing I'm considering now is whether to just play the numbers game by trying to accumulate more Silver chests at the end of the season. If I play my cards right, I could be getting upwards of 70 Silver chests and I think that could lead to a better outcome than what I get from the 40-46 Gold chests I get when I play at maximum capacity.

DEC reward

In the past couple of seasons, I have actually broken into the top 20 positions and putting me in line to earn DEC at the end of the season. However, to maintain accumulating Gold chests, I always relinquish the position.

The mistake of not moving up to Gold league last season could turn into an opportunity for me, as I could now be in line to earn DEC at the end of the season.

Right now, I think I have quite the solid deck for Silver level and I can see myself breaking into the top 10 if I brawl diligently. The season is long and arduous but I think I have the capacity to be among the best in my league.

Earning DEC rewards at the end of the season will bring more value to me than anything I've been able to get from the gold chests in the past couple of seasons. This DEC could then be reinvested into getting in more rentals that I'll then use to climb even higher up the ladder and claim top spot one day.

There are obviously no assurances though because the level of competition keeps rising and you have to keep up or be left behind. My deck with over 214K collection power isn't even among the top ten in the Silver league, and that's a testament to how crazy things are.

To stand any chance of earning DEC reward at the end of the season, I might have to dip into the rental market and I'll definitely have to be at my best.
