That's exactly why doing good matters. If the evil that men do lives after them, think about the good that lives on after a doer of good deeds.
Sometimes while trying to be kind and do good deeds, we might be stabbed in the back, ridiculed, hurt and more but if we choose to close our eyes due to the pain, we will miss several other opportunities to do good that will live a lasting print.
Do good because doing good does good.

Without expecting anything in reward, doing good still brings good.
May people never change us so bad that we turn blind eyes to persons we should help
