BDVoter Daily Hive Showcase: #404

BDS.png

Welcome to BDVoter Daily Showcase.

For those who don’t know, BDVoter is a curation project on HIve Blockchain that was initiated primarily aiming to encourage BD Hive users who were overlooked even after contributing to the chain with their excellent writing and meaningful engagement. However, the project has branched out to other communities and now manually curates worthy content on Hive including but not limited to creative writing, gaming content, travel blogs, sports talks, movie thoughts, and so on.

Besides, in an attempt to support a healthy ecosystem, BDVoter keeps an eye on @Splinterlands content and supports weekly challenges (Art Challenge, Social Media Challenge & Battle Mage Secrets). As the project strongly stands against plagiarists and spammers, content creators are encouraged to produce high-quality, meaningful, and original content that adds value to the blockchain. In short, we believe in creativity, so, show us the best of you!

We encourage everyone to visit the blogs that we carefully select and would thank you for your support and encouragement for these authors. If you love what they do, engage, follow, or maybe say Hello! Last but not least, shower some love on their content; it would be highly appreciated.

[EN/PT] Battle Mage Secrets! Broken Arrows

This post is a recap of a battle in the Splinterlands game, focusing on the Battle Mage Secrets challenge. The challenge involves presenting the secrets of battles before a Battle Ruleset. The Ruleset analyzed in this post is Broken Arrows, which prohibits the use of Ranged damage monsters. The post explains that this Ruleset doesn't have much impact on gameplay because players don't usually deploy many Ranged damage monsters. The strategy suggested is to deploy a few Melee monsters in the first positions and then deploy magic units, which have powerful damage and can attack from any position. The post also provides a recap of a battle that took place in the Silver League, featuring the Broken Arrows and Aim True Rulesets. The player used the Water Splinter and KELYA FRENDUL Summoner, while the opponent chose the Life Splinter. The player's lineup strategy involved deploying different monsters in strategic positions to protect each other. The player successfully defeats all the enemy monsters and attributes their victory to the speed and armor granted by their summoner, as well as the greater number of monsters on the field.

Share Your Battle! The Bloodlust

This post discusses the concept of bloodlust in the Splinterlands game. Bloodlust is an ability that triggers each time a monster kills an opponent, granting it a +1 increase to all its stats. The post highlights that all monsters from the Gladius edition are equipped with bloodlust abilities. The author also mentions that there are additional monsters with bloodlust that are not part of the Gladius Edition set. The post provides a battle lineup and highlights a battle where the author's Krash Wanderford gains multiple bloodlust triggers, resulting in increased stats. The post concludes by mentioning the importance of countering bloodlust abilities with monsters that have dispel and the usefulness of the bloodlust ability in battles due to the addition of the weapons training ability.
