I don't want to grow old
A couple years ago, I went to stay with my grandma for some time. She's a beautiful, nice, and very caring person (emphasis on caring). She doesn't really talk much. And when we do, it's not usually very fluent because she only speaks our native and it sounds awkward when I say it. I get teased about it a lot so I try to speak it as little as possible. Anyways, that's a story for another day.
Those days when I stayed with her, her routine was pretty much the same. Wake up early, pray, bathe, eat, then go to the little shop at the front of her house and sell stuff. To me it seemed so boring and repetitive. Only other activities she did was maybe stroll to see a friend once in a while, and church. She's not very good with tech so she only uses her phone to call her grandkids, kids, and friends. Even the little shop she sells things was built just so she could have something to do.
At that time I thought to myself that I don't want to get old. I enjoy living the life of an agile young man. I don't want to be policed by my kids and be told what to do, what to eat, and stuff like that. It's just not me. At times I feel like the life cycle of man is, baby, adult, then big baby.
The fear of getting old and not being able to do the things I could do actually haunts me at times. But I guess I'll just have to learn to enjoy being young for as long as I can. Besides being old ain't so bad, there's some perks as well.
I read the experiences of some elderly people online and I've learnt that you only lose the excitement of being young If you allow it. I guess I can still enjoy life even at an old age. I can use all my free time to learn new things, travel, read, explore as well. By then web3 would have taken over and I'll be like some old man OG. I'm pretty sure tech will have improved a whole lot more, perhaps I'll use that to pass the time as well.

Actually no point thinking of too far the future. There is a saying YOLO and it is about learning how to enjoy now.
Thanks man, it's best to just do your best now and not worry too much about the future
Ah when you get older you enjoy slowing down a bit and the routine. You will see.
Hmm, I guess I'll have to agree with you since you're speaking from experience
