The most important meal of the day (Breakfast)

Hello hivers and to the @hive-learners community, how has your week been like? Mine was very hot lol, but thanks to the rain yesterday I was able to sleep good cause the weather was cold.

We, as individuals, are fond of overlooking the tiniest details pertaining to our health because they are so small that we tend to write them off, unaware that even the smallest health decision could make a big difference.

We visit the hospital almost every month but fail to do the required things that would help us stay healthy, we believe so much in drugs( not saying its bad) that we forget we neglect the little things that can help us stay healthy and improve the longevity of our health.

One health tip that has made a massive difference is Breakfast.
Remember that saying ”an apple a day keeps the Doctor away.

Breakfast, as we know, is the most important meal of the day, but you might be askingWhat makes it so important that it's considered a health tip?

     **IMPORTANCE OF BREAKFAST**
  1. It improves concentration and focus. Ever notice that when you're hungry, you find it so hard to concentrate? That's because the body and brain are craving nutrients. So it's important to start your day with a healthy meal.

  2. Helps lift your mood: I don't know about you, but if I wake up hungry, there's nothing good about the morning lol. Eating breakfast releases dopamine into your system (a chemical that improves your mood).

  3. Helps the health of your heart: skipping breakfast or just snacking on snacks high in sugar and cholesterol is really bad for your health and doesn't aid in the longevity of your heart.

  4. Improves academic performance: eating breakfast helps you comprehend, be alert, and improve your concentration. Studies have shown that children who eat breakfast perform better in school activities.

  5. Weight management (BMI): Most of us are trying to lose weight,gain weight, or regulate our weight, but do you think breakfast isn't important? Lol, Delulu ain’t yall. (Note: It should be a healthy breakfast; avoid snacking on unhealthy snacks.)

  6. Helps pregnant women and their unborn babies with the required nutrients for the day and also the health and function of both mom and baby.

  7. Helps improve breast milk for nursing mothers

As much as breakfast is important or should i say, food is important, it has to be healthy.

List of health meals you can take in the morning

  1. Oats
  2. Healthy meals rich in proteins like eggs, fish etc
  3. Peanut butter and bread
  4. Avocado and toast bread.

Theres so much more, and you dont have to break the bank to eat health.But it's very important to start your day with healthy food so you can function effectively and not break down. You'll become filled with energy and ready for the day.

 Remember to make healthy choices, your future Doctors are busy with tik tok challenge…. Lol just kidding, but you’re first responsible for your health before anyone else.

Thanks to the rain that fell eceywher is now cool.

For breakfast, normally I don't want early but now I know better. Though I do have reasons why I skip mine. Hehe
