In Advancement, Have We Lost Balance between Civilization and Nature?
Hello to the Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. Nature is the beautiful Creation of God. It's every aspect has variation in glamour and beauty. Like Williams Wordsworth, I 'm also a nature lover. Nowadays, when world is making progress fast. I 'm afraid of its destruction. We are changing nature with artificial things. There is no perfect replacement for nature. As we are moving forward in Technology, we are ignoring the manipulation in the nature. Civilization doesn't mean, we started to make permanent damaging in nature.

I belong to an Urban Area but I love to sniff nature
I born in a city where I have seen closely many things. There are many things changed to facilitate us. We have converted many things according to our ease. Although, I belong to urban area but nature has different feeling for me. I can feel it's beauty from the sunrise to sunset. I have gardening as my hobby. I cared about plants. Civilization is a threat with following pros and cons.
Cons of Civilization
If you are long follower of my blog here, then you come to realize how much love I have for nature. I love to smell flowers, I love to taste fruits, I love to walk on grass in the rain, I love to feel sky on the mountains and I love to grow plants. Near Lahore, we have small land where we love to grow cotton and wheat every year.
1.Nature's Beauty is in Danger
Due to Civilization, the polluted air is harming the plants. When I see, any plant started melting due to bad weather like acid rain, my heart panicked. I have close connection with nature, civilization is a threat for it.

I 'm urban person, it is clear but I can't accept to destroy rural life for human's Civilization.
2. Global Impacts
With increase in population, there is increase in demands. To fulfill these demands, we are cutting plants, we are releasing harmful gases into the environment and we are introducing artificial methods as a replacer to nature. There are following global impacts that are results of human's mistakes.
- Global Warming
- Floods
- Acid Rain
- Barren Lands
There is increase of carbon dioxide due to excessive usage of refrigerator and chiller. It is breaking ozone layer and the high energy rays are entering into the earth. It resulted in increase in temperature called Global Warming.
Glaciers are melting due to high temperature. It resulted into Floods
The Smoke coming from high speed engines of vehicles is the big source of Acid rain.
When it is raining acid with water on a land, the fertility of the land is compromised. Moreover, floods also added in this impact. Overall, the fertile lands are changing into barren Lands
3. Irreparable Loss to Wild Life
Modern man love to see the animals in cages. Most of the Zoos are full of Advanced species of animals. With advancement, we are cutting trees at a larger scale. It is direct destruction of wild ecosystem. As a result, I have seen there are many extinct species in Pakistan and some are nearly endangered.
Pros of Civilization
Although Civilization has many cons but it is benefiting to man. In every country, people want to be a civilized nation. Everyone is doing his best to move with speed of time. There are following important pros of Civilization.
1. Fast Development of Rural Life into Urban Life
When there is fight between resources, man is changing rural areas into urban area. Where there were no school, no hospital and no public places now I have seen plenty of them into near every village. Muddy houses changed into cemented buildings.
2. Technology
It is the age of technology. Everyone wants to have advanced gadgets. Now, we have robot to help humans. We have Artificial Intelligence to cooperate humanity. Advanced vehicles, advanced rails and advanced aeroplanes are available. It is good fruit of Civilization.

3. Seeking Chances of life on other Planets
Man's thirst for inventing new things doesn't finish on earth. He moved to the next level of technology and started his landing on other planets. Recently, India has landed Chandryan-|| on the surface of moon. Moreover, there is research to find the possibility of life on the Mars and Moon as well. Civilization opens the doors of inventions beyond the limits of earth.
4. Improvement in Standard And Quality of life
With advancement in Civilization, the standard of life have much improved. Now, we have proper hygiene system to preserve as well as to eat food. Moreover, cleaning measurements with aid of advanced tools are more encouraged. Due to these reasons, we have less chances of diseases as compared to our traditional era. There is great availability of seasonal foods that once were rare in specific seasons. Now, we used purified water. We eat sanitized food. Hence, Quality of life is increased.
Conclusion
Everything has a limit. When this limit is crossed or overlapped then we have to face troubles. Civilization although has improved the standard of humanity but its cons are not negligible. Hence, it is strongly needed to keep a balance between Civilization and nature. For example, if we are cutting for woods for timber then we should have more grown plants as a their replacement. We can clear our lands from the trees for shelter of population but it is ultimately destroying the Environment and Climate of others. I hope, our world will do it's best to maintain this balance before the natural resources finished due to human mistakes.

The quality of life due to technology has improved a lot, but perhaps it is a high cost that we will start to pay, mainly due to climate change, this will be something that will have a huge impact in the coming years,

We are causing more harm than good to the environment.

hmm i liked how you organized your thoughts. I'm just curious why your con for number one says nature beauty in danger and then for your third one you mention the irreparable lost to wildlife. I feel point three would also fall under point one but its all good.
