August 5th, 2022This week has been a wild one for me since becoming an unpaid school bus driver for the village. The world of @asean.hive delegations has also been a rollercoaster ride this week, with some new folks joining and others jumping ship. This week we lost delegations from jacuzzi, elizacheng, and sisterhood2, but also picked up some new delegations as well. Most notibly, @positivesteem become a GOLD VIP by upping his delegation to 1,100+ HP, and crossing over the necessary 1,000 HP in the process.
@alvonsohiver upped his delegation to 420 HP, @rosmadirazali to 280 HP, @jasonmunapasee to 200 HP, and @neoseven to 200 HP. We also picked up some new delegators with @dayat92 starting off with 100 HP, and @bearmol with 51 HP. There is nothing more exciting than seeing new new supporters, and the wave of new delegations nearly made up for the big 1,000 HP delegation loss. Alright, time to go, this post is late, and some fellow Hiver and in-laws are on their way to visit us.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 103,284, and total delegated HP is 98,159 HP (62,336 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

We'll see, at the end of the month one of our neighbors has offered to cover some fuel costs. We've made it clear to give only what they can afford to give. Thank you for the kind words, and I too am excited to see our community grow and grow.
I need some river rocks for landscaping, so I might make the boys an offer to haul a bucket of rocks from the river to our house for each roundtrip ride.
