April 6th, 2021Raffle #45 is here folks, and we have a lot of new delegations to mention. Most notably @davidke20 increased his delegation to 20,000 HP, and I matched him by increasing my delegation to 20,000 HP too. @luueetang upped his delegation to 530 HP, putting him at the top of SILVER VIPs, now above @lebah and also the winner of this week's SILVER raffle. @positivesteem upped his delegation to 300 HP, also landing himself very high in the SILVER VIPs.
@rosmadirazali increased his delegation to an even 200 HP, and @mrnuhiver came onboard as a new SILVER VIP delegator with 100 HP. @sisterhood2 also became a new BRONZE VIP with her 50 HP delegation, as well as @lion-bull. That's a lot of activity, and the ranks has shifted a lot, keeping things very exciting. I can't thank you delegators enough for supporting the ASEAN Hive Community through your delegations, every single HP is cherished.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 73,353, and total delegated HP is 69,835 HP (49,214 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

I guess in a sense this is the closest post to a weekly newsletter, and perhaps I will eventually incorporate some kind of news section in this weekly post. More power to all ASEAN Hivers 👊.

The VIPs are so integral to our community, helping us maintain a high voting HP with a grassroots method. Even without whale support, ASEAN Hive posts often get curated from outside, a sign the whales know ASEAN Hive is a good place to find quality Hive content.
Yeah sir agree with you on that. Hopefully the whales can see from here we have lot's of talented hivers too.

Thanks for asking, I guess I should write that in way that is more clear, good point.
For crossposting, I mean that crossposting from another community into ASEAN Hive is prohibited, but if you want to publish something here and then crosspost it elsewhere, that is okay so long as the other communities permit that. I made the crossposting rule after noticing many Hivers were using ASEAN Hive as a crosspost dumping ground, and these folks were not engaging with any ASEAN Hive content creators.
