Greetings ASEAN Hivers, @JustinParke here with another ASEAN Hive VIP Delegator Raffle post, where I announce the winners and do a bit of rambling.

March 23rd, 2021Β Β Β We start off with the biggest news of all, @sreypov, the @kidsisters, and myself have upped our @asean.hive delegations, but of course as part of the team, we all continue to exclude ourselves from all ASEAN Hive raffles. @lueetang upped his delegation up to 450 HP, now nipping at the heels of @lebah for the top SILVER spot. As usual @rosmadirazali increased his delegation by a bit, and @neoseven started a new 100 HP delegation.
Β Β Β Every little HP counts, and we also had two new delegations, each 50 HP, from @godslove123 and @alvonzo. Whether your delegation is 1 HP or 50,000 HP, all of it is much appreciated and serves to support and elevate Southeast Asian content on the Hive blockchain. Now that the total delegations are so big, I now planning for some more prizes and potential rewards for ASEAN VIPs. Definitely stay tuned, we still have one free day a week for a new curation/post, and I just love creating new curations and contests.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Β Β Β Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP π₯ BRONZE Raffle.
Β Β Β There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
Β Β Β This week's total effective HP is 70,347, and total delegated HP is 66,912 HP (45,567 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
Β Β Β The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

I hope so, and I prefer the sustainability of having a large number of small delegators than having the support of a whale or two. By this method we are free of Hive politics and remain a grassroots community.

I just took a look at your total HP, and it's not yet reached 150. You already have 40HP out in delegations, so in my honest opinion I would not delegate to @asean.hive (even though we could really use it) or any account for that matter, especially the accounts you have already delegated to, both of which have more than enough HP to work with, and don't need it nearly as much as you do as a new Hiver.
I would rather encourage you to focus on reaching a total of 500HP first before worrying about any delegations to any accounts, and I don't think this is selfish at all. With 500HP you can begin to have a significant upvote and also reward your commenters a bit. Through consistent engagement in this community you can become an ASEAN Hive Star, and that will help get you bigger upvotes here and also signal to other ASEAN Hivers you're doing something to contribute to the sustainability of the community without necessarily delegating yet.
I've blabbed a lot, sorry for that, but I noticed you're a Filipina and assumed you're English is at a high level. Feel free to ask any questions, and I also recommend you follow @theterminal, an especially helpful gang of dedicated Hivers here to assist and support newbies and those under 500HP.
