Hello, Hello!

I'm back! This time, to share my thoughts about this week's The Coffee Shop Prompt #tcsp. Coincidentally, a fascinating coffee shop recently got pushed on my fb feed. I promised my kids we'd go there, but I ended up with a coffee date with hubs while the kids were in Bible School. XD

I am a sweet tooth, no doubt. I loooove desserts and yes, chocolates! You know what else I love? No prize for guessing --

black coffee!

I learned something from a friend long ago - pair dark chocolate when drinking hot tea or coffee. Take a sip of the hot drink then let the chocolate melt from the warmth of your mouth. Yuummmm!

So yeah, it's always been sweets with black coffee for me,

Anyhow, back to this coffee shop. It's called Radio Cafe, located some 25kms off-city. You know what got me? That short video where they showed some New York rolls oozing with different flavors. They have four flavors - pistachios, chocolate, Kinder, and strawberry. In the video, they rated the pistachio one 1000/10. LOL. That's setting the expectation to the roof!

I am no pistachio lover, but man, that bold review got me. Hubs ordered broccoli salad, french fries, and cappuccino while I got black Americano and the pistachio roll.

Well, of course, I also had some of his order because why not?! I have to say that those broccolis really taste great!

Sweet or Savory? That's the question.

Now, time for the verdict!

Is this pistachio roll worth the hype and the 25-minute drive?

Deym, yes!

It complemented so well with my coffee. Goodness gracious!

That seals it -- black coffee with sweets. No other way around it.

The rumors are true. These New York rolls are heaven to sweet-toothed people like me. I ordered the Kinder flavor for my kids and they loved it, too.
