What's a Monday without the Monday needlework post?

Well, as a fashion designer that's always the highlight of my post.

It's another week and I am excited to share with you all the duties of a big Aunty. Hehe.

During the Covid-19 Era, I made a simple teal green dress for myself just to attend my bestie's wedding.

The wedding was just a simple civil wedding with a little crowd, something I love 😃😃😍😍😍.

I scrolled through my phone to fix myself a quick dress, and then I saw a dude rocking the neckline on his outfit.

Oh, I loved it and decided to extract that neckline for my simple dress. So sorry, I do not have the behind-the-scenes pictures as it was a long time ago.

When I rocked the outfit to the wedding, my friend and her friends loved it.

I took a selfie though.

That is the neckline I was talking about which was made like straps of my fabrics and placed around the neckline.

Since it was made during the lockdown period, I didn't have so many opportunities to rock it out until sometime in March this year, I wore it for another function where I saw my little friend.

Immediately she saw me, she rushed up to hug me and the next thing was a compliment on my dress and now she wanted me to give it out to her.

She was confident I will give her one since I was the producer of my outfits, in her words, "You can always make another one for yourself please give me this one".

I couldn't turn her down, being her " Big Aunty", as she fondly calls me. I told her to come home and take it when she is chanced.

Two days later, Oluchi showed up at my house unannounced😃😃😃, she came for the outfit, well I gave her the outfit if that would put a smile on her face.

I love Oluchi for being content with whatever she has and she has a very good gratitude attitude which was why I was excited to give her.

A few weeks back, she sent me a picture of her rocking the dress, since it wasn't her original size, she slim-fitted it to her size and this was what it looked like In her.

She was so excited as she told me how many people complimented her for looking amazing.

She told me to find another one to give her soon. Haha

That smile is just amazing and I have packed a few outfits for her as a surprise. I know she would be so excited to rock them.
