The Jedda expressway is usually busy during the weekend as most workers ply on it to visit their various communities to spend the weekend.

But it has a major a major problem, and that is potholes. The road has suffered serious neglect by the authorities. Even at that motorists still ply on it because of it's closeness to the hinterlands.

That fateful afternoon, a bus was speeding and in a bid to avoid a big pothole veered off and collided with an oncoming vehicle. The result was fatal. Medical attention could not arrive soon enough and many were feared dead.
